[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Talk about a do it all gas container, this has already been my keep in the truck container for multiple reasons. 1 it is a great size and design for a 5g container which fits awesome in my tacoma. 2 it makes fueling easy while I'm out on my land scoping routes and need to top off a trimmer, edger, or mower. I can't wait to buy another for my two stroke fuel on the route. Amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gas can is a far cry from the big, heavy, metal gas cans of my childhood! This SmartControl 5-gal Gas Container is light and extremely ergonomically friendly which makes handling and pouring much easier! The cap and leak-proof valves ensure that no gas is ever spilled during transport.

I bought a couple of these for my garden tractors and generators, what a mistake, nearly impossible to get gas to pour into either my Ariens zero turn or garden tractor witout spilling everywhere. I ended up buying a couple of plain aftermarket gas caps and a strainer funnel and fill it the old fasion way. At least the old army style steel jerry cans can be sealed against leakage with a good gasket and you can see how much gas is going into the tank past the good old reliable spout. Someone needs to shoot the designer of these new "Safety spouts" since they are all a PITA and frustrating to attempt to use.

I'm happy with the actual container, but the crazy contraption of a pour spout stinks! They began leaking after the first refill. On the five gallon jugs it is difficult to operate the spout with one hand and hold the jug up,with the other hand. (We changed out the pour spout and vent with 'old time' replacements from Amazon.)

Keeps gas in the can until I want it to pour out. The handles on the top and side make it great for filling and manuevering over tank inlets. I liked this enough that I got a second smaller one for my 2 cycle fuel. Good secure sealing so I can transport in trunk or van without the fumes or spilling

The pouring button works very well to keep from spilling gas. The rear handle is a great feature for pouring gas easily.

The 5G smart control has container has a spout that is much easier to use and the rear handle makes it much easier to hold. I really like this gas container.

It is made of heavy duty plastic, nice large size, extremely sturdy and easy to use. This is one of the best gas cans I've ever used. I highly recommend this product!
