These lanterns are very convenient with two choices for batteries. It is good to have the option of AA batteries as well as a rechargeable battery option. It casts light well and has a magnetic bottom which is useful in settings such as shipping container cabins and automotive troubleshooting. We are very pleased with this purchase and feel it is a good value.

Sam's has greatly improved this lantern -- I like the option of being able to use either AA batteries or the included Lithium Ion batteries. So far, performance of these lanterns has been outstanding!

Great little flashlight's, easy to turn on when needed come out good strong magnets . I have one stuck on top of my refrigerator for emergency and it stays right where I put it so if the lights go out I know where to find it immediately period the other 1 will be used in our tent for camping this summer.

Handy little device for when you need more light than just your iPhone flashlight. Very bright, and very easy to use.

My wife purchases these lanterns for me as an afterthought but I loved them better than any other gift I received. I use them when I take the dogs out for a walk or when going to work as a bus monitor at 5:30 a.m.

We have several of these at our home and cottage. They are used primarily by us during power outages or when camping. Easy to turn on/off and the light is bright enough to play cards, do chores, search the barn and garage for missing items. We have owned ours for probably three or maybe 4 years so ours are an older model but still look similar. One really nice part about the lanterns also is that there are three magnets on the base to adhere the lantern to Vertical metal surfaces- we store ours on the side of the refrigerator at our Cottage & a couple on a steel door in the garage.

We took these boating, the laterns were bright and they even have a red flasher that would be great if you are broke down somewhere and need help. It has a smaller flashlight as well and the rechargeable battery lasted us all week with out having to charge it. I love how you can charge it with a C charger or just put regulator AA batteries when in a pinch.

I was so glad I picked up these little lanterns on the spur the moment at Sam’s. A week later hurricane Milton hit. I was without power for 18 hours. These lanterns were great. They’re all recharge them back in my emergency kit.

Produces the right amount of personal lighting and the collapsible handle for when you are using it as a lantern is convenient. Only “complaint” would be that the battery storage for the AA rechargeable batteries overlap so you use either or.. if the rechargeable battery is dead, you can not charge it separately while using the AA non- rechargeable batteries so you lose one light to serve as a battery charger.

My lanterns only stayed on @20 minutes each with the lithium batteries and shut off. They did better with regular batteries but I really needed the lamps to work. I fully charged the lithium batteries Wednesday evening- Thursday. I bought these 2 days before hurricane Helene hit & we were without power for 2 weeks. I was so disappointed because we truly needed lights.
