Mess: Contained!

Indeed it was very nice to realize we had a massive explosion while wearing this kind of swimmer last summer. It was super hard to take off without dragging the mess over my son's legs on the way off, though. And don't forget--these are great holding number two. They're not meant to hold in number one (speaking from experience).

Who needs a swim suit?

These are great swim diapers. My boys would just run around our backyard in just sunscreen, hat, shoes, and their little swimmer! No need to put on their swim suits! I tired using them as a normal diaper when we ran out on vacation one time, and they are really not that great for that purpose, but for some water fun, they do what they are suppose to!

Great for my itty bitty lady

My little girl was about 4 and a half months old when we first used this product. She was born very small so at this point she was still wearing newborn cloths and such, so the only issue was the size of the swimmer; which went up to her chest just about, lol. However I was amazed at how well the little swimmer held in her messes, even with this size difference. I was very pleased with this product!

Little swimmers is a big help!!

My daughter didn't really like to swim but I still bought the little swimmer because we had a pool to swim in and everyone was always swimming. So I tried getting her use to swimming so we had bought the big box of little swimmers for her and she slowly got used to swimming, before the summer ended she was then comfortable swimming it was a good thing because now she finally like to take baths, she didn't like taking baths either.

Great!

This is a wonderful thing for our family! We go to the beach and waterparks a lot. The swim diapers make it easy for the babies to go also! I just wish they were water proof on the outside like regular diapers. My husband was holding our daughter before they got in the water and she peed on his lap.

It's a GREAT swimpants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So when I tried these out on my 1 year old. It worked out. My 1 year old was in the pool for 2 hours straight. Once I removed his swimsuit and wetsuit, I was in shock. His swimmers did not bulk nor swell up with water. It looked dry and flat. I still don't understand how LOL..I was AMAZED!!! Best product for swimming.

Good not great.

They aren't bad. They just aren't great. Swim diapers seem to be about the same across the board- they'll hold in a limited amount of shall we say, "solid waste" but don't expect them to be as much protection as a regular diaper. If you put them in little swimmers for the car ride to the pool your child may arrive with a pre-soaked suit. On the other hand the diapers don't sag or explode when the child is in the pool, which is a clear advantage. My advise... change the child into the little swimmers immediately before swimming and bring a diaper to the pool to change the baby after they're done in the water.

Love them!!

I have an 18 month old daughter and a special needs 5 year old. These work perfect for both of my kiddos. I LOVE them!! My son has swimming at school at least 4 days a week and have never failed. We also go swimming at the beach quite often and also work wonderful there! I will continue to use these for as long as I can!

Swim Diapers

To be honest, I won't purchase these diapers for my child. But I received a bunch of them from my sister-n-law. The pros to using swim diapers: doesn't swell like a diaper when wet, holds in poop, easy to put on and off. Cons: Poop becomes very runny, pee goes right through, and expensive.

We assumed these would be great for taking our daughter swimming; that they were water proof. They weren't. The Little Swimmers still took in water from the pool so, when she went potty, she blew out. Being at a public pool, that was very embarrassing. Thankfully we weren't in the pool at the time. Yes they don't swell or explode like diapers do but that can make it harder to tell that a diaper change is needed.
