As other reviewers have noted, the new formula has an unpleasant odor reminiscent of decaying organic matter. Our family is sensitive to fragrances, and being fragrance-free was one of the reasons we have trusted Aveeno for over two decades. If the new scent is a result of the new formulation, we will be discontinuing our use of Aveeno.

This is a lovely product for dry or sensitive skin. The texture is smooth and creamy and it feels very gentle. It soaks in quickly and does not leave the skin feeling oily. The scent is very light and pleasant. It is made with natural oats and has no harsh ingredients which is great for delicate skin.

This lotion does its job well. It’s a big bottle that’s easy to use and gives you a lot of product. The ingredients are good for sensitive skin and I didn’t have any issues regarding that. The lotion absorbs pretty quickly but has an oaty scent that lingers. It’s an okay scent (and one that’s expected) but it does knock it down a few stars for me.

I have VERY exacting standards for lotion. It must not feel greasy whatsoever. It must moisturize and heal my eczema. It must allow me to dress soon afterward. I’ve used Necessaire, Aesop, skincare products as body lotion, Josie Maran, Drunk Elephant, Farmacy, Laura Mercier, etc. None of them work as well as this. When I want to have a little fragrance, I mix with some essential oils or another scented lotion but Aveeno is a staple to me now. It even keeps me soft when I visit Denver, which is super dry.
