s a regular Bath & Body Works lotion user for nearly 15 years, but after learning about the ingredients in their lotions, I have since changed over to a much safer option: Beautycounter’s Hydrating Body Lotion. After my showers, I like to put lotion on my legs (I am kind of obsessed with smooth legs.), but I never considered how many chemicals and potentially-toxic ingredients I was putting on my skin every single day! This lotion was being absorbed by my pores and into my skin this entire time and these potentially harmful chemicals may have wrecked havoc on my body.

I live in MN and this winter has been horrendous! My skin is dry, calloused and cracking. I had to find something that repaired my skin and helped what I was going through. I found this product and have seen the light! Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion is phenomenal. My skin has done a complete 180 and now almost glows. Twice a week I do a “hand treatment” where I coat my hands in the lotion and put on rubber gloves. I leave them in the gloves for at least an hour/2 hours and the results are just amazing! I would never go back to another lotion again. I am a true believer of Aveeno and the fantastic product line they produce!

We have bought Aveno for as long as I’ve used body lotion. Each time we open a new container, we hope that the pump will continue to work down to the last few inches. This has never happened, the pump will not pump out the final two or more inches. I know you are aware of this but what are your plans to improve your design??

I use this everyday after my shower. I apply it to damp skin and it absorbs wonderfully. One pump is enough for my whole body, sometimes I'll use two if I'm a bit dry. If I put a lot on, I will notice a bit of tackiness, but nothing greasy or outrageous. It leaves a little bit on top of the skin, which helps keep moisture in, but it's not the slick or powdery feel you get from matte or dry touch lotions. This is the only lotion that I have been able to use long-term. Every other brand becomes less effective after a few months or is just too expensive for full body use. I like it for my hands because it doesn't make them greasy like butter lotions. I don't use it on my face, it does make me very oily but it doesn't break me out either and I'll gladly use it while traveling.

This is my absolute favorite lotion I have ever used. The moment I put it on my skin feels clean, soft like SILK. Actual silk. I was born with horrible eczema and this lotion has helped me relieve my dry itchy skin without any allergens and no rashes after use. I even use it on my face. I wish I could use a shampoo with this stuff. I buy the entire stock whenever it’s in stores. Please never change this lotion. Please never take it away.

We always have a big bottle of this lotion in home for daily use, especially winter time. It helps us avoid any dryness, ichy skin. We love the texture, not too smelly, not too oily. Your skin will feel smoother and not too sticky. It’s not expensive but it works really well.

After my divorce about two years ago, I didn't feel beautiful anymore. I started to buy glamour magazines and took a step forward physically, mentally and emotionally. I lost weight, changed my hair color and makeup, started a new fashion wardrobe, was hired at a new job and all the while I was using Aveeno body wash and lotion based on a magazine recommendation. I got into a mode where every night after my bath with Aveeno, Moisturizing Body Wash, I moisturized my skin with Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion. Two years later, my skin is soft and healthy and I am 32 years old, people think I am 24 to 27 years old..I couldn't be happier taking care of myself and becoming someone I am proud of. When my friends ask me what I would like for Christmas, birthdays, etc..I ask for Aveeno because I cannot get enough of the product and I am not comfortable using any other product as I don't believe it gives the attention that Aveeno does - The ingredients are more important to me than fragrance and brand. Enter Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion—a silky elixir spun from unicorn tears and oat magic (probably). One swipe and my elbow went from dragon-scale to dolphin-smooth. Smell? Like nature whispered directly into my pores. Texture? So creamy, angels weep. Results? I now slide off chairs because I’m that moisturised. Would I trade this lotion for anything else? Only if Poseidon offers me a trident infused with hyaluronic acid. ---

This was my go to body moisturizer for several years I’m really not sure why I ever stopped using it… I’m glad I tried it again.. its still as moisturizing and amazing as i remembered it being. Definitely recommend this is you have dry & sensitive skin like me.

OK, full disclosure: I haven't yet actually applied the lotion on my body. It may work wonders. However, I am still sulking because the pump mechanism is so UNINTUITIVE that I couldn't figure it out. After I spent many minutes, using techniques I've come to know from using other products, trying to initiate some kind of pump action on either bottle (I bought a 2-pack), I gave up in frustration. My wife eventually came to my rescue; it took her only a few minutes to figure out how to get the pump to work. And I'm a former product engineer! The secret: turn the pump clockwise 1/4 rotation from its initial forward-pointing position. With the pump pointing leftward (as you look at the front of the bottle), you can use your right hand to easily pump the lotion into your left hand ... which favors only those people who prefer to apply lotion with their left hand. The pump does not work if it is in any other orientation. Not that there are any instructions on the packaging to indicate that. (Or, if there are, they are not visible to older eyes.) The initial experience of trying to use this lotion was, for me, extremely frustrating.
