[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set-up this TV last week in our bedroom. It was easy to unpack. I suggest the user wears gloves to avoid getting fingerprints on the screen when initially unwrapping the TV from the inner packaging. During set-up I had to create a free account on Roku which was easy. It asked me what apps I wanted to add to the TV. Screen prompts on the TV made initial set-up easy once I entered various passwords for my wi-fi and streaming services. Since I was using an antenna and not a cable box it took a few minutes for the TV to scan for channels. It picked up all the same channels I was watching on my previous TV. Once the TV was set-up and I was on the main menu screen, it took me a moment to select my favorite channels via antenna and Roku TV service. I noticed that the remote does not have numbered keys which I was used to from past TVs. But it was not a problem once I figured out how to access the Live TV menu. And the remote is smaller as a result. Easy to scroll through the channels and pick what I wanted to watch. The TV screen is very thin as well as the borders around the viewing portion of the screen. Like it as it provides more viewing area for the size of the TV. The picture is bright and clear on both live and streaming channels. Didn't notice any difference with the picture quality or viewability when the blinds and were open with lots of sunlight or closed. There was no to very little lag time when switching between streaming services, which I like. Only minor glitch I noticed was once when I turned the TV on, it showed the incorrect time. Once I hit the menu button the TV quickly corrected itself to the right time. Hasn't happened again. Overall, I would recommend this TV. The 50" is perfect for our bedroom.

My friend helped me with mounting it and it truly was a breeze because this TV is only 20 pounds. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to find and enjoy your favorite content without any hassle. One thing that truly stands out about this TV is the stunning picture quality. The colors are vibrant and everything looks bright and beautiful on the screen. However, I did encounter a minor issue when I connected my PC via HDMI. The colors appeared washed out, and no adjustments in the picture settings seemed to fix it. Thankfully, after some exploration in the main menu settings, I found the 'HDMI mode' option and switched it to 'Standard' with 'low latency' turned on, which resolved the problem and restored the picture to its normal quality. In terms of audio, I was pleasantly surprised by the TV's built-in speakers. Unlike many other TVs, the sound quality is actually quite good. Whether I was watching movies or listening to music, the sound was clear and immersive. Another feature that I appreciate is the TV's slightly elevated position. It gives the TV a unique look and enhances the viewing experience, especially when placed on a TV stand or mounted on the wall. Lastly, I was delighted to find a headphone jack on this TV. Plus the Ruko live-TV does have some good channels my family and I are enjoying. The only issue I've had is with my remote control from my DirectTV box doesn't turn on the TV most of the time and If I can't find the Roku tv than I need to turn it on manually.

So happy to have gotten this to review for Influenster. I would most definitely recommend to all friends and family. Only downfall is the controller DID NoT come with batteries :) would definitely buy their products for the rest of my home or as a gift.

The initial set up was really easy because I used to watch TV news channels with my old one and which needs TV antenna. But this one does not need the TV antenna so now I can enjoy many news channels just plug the power cord into socket. Another thing what I like the most about this Roku TV is I just need to log in to my YouTube account to watch all of the You Tube channels which I have subscribed previously. Picture and sound qualities are amazing and it is very convenient and easy to stream iTunes music in this TV and theater quality sound is the bonus point when listing the songs purchased from the iTunes store. Overall I really satisfied with the features of my new TV and I would like to recommend it especially to the one who is new to Roku Smart QLED TV.
