[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Defender tires were such a great find. They are durable and strong. Also great quality. They look great on the car as well. I am looking forward to these new tires and will feel safe using them when driving my family.

I’ve been generally pleased with the performance of these tires—they handle well in both wet and dry conditions, provide a quiet and comfortable ride, and inspire confidence on the road. However, I was disappointed with the tread life. Despite careful and consistent driving, my set needed replacement at around 37,000 miles, well short of the advertised 60,000-mile expectation. Since these came as OEM equipment on my vehicle, there was unfortunately no warranty support available. Overall, great performance, but potential buyers should be aware of the faster-than-expected tread wear.

Even though I just installed them and can't give you mileage or longevity yet, I am impressed with these tires. I have used them for 1 month and we have seen heavy rain, no hydroplaning, snow and ice storms, no slippage and mainly ground grip on hilly descents. They have behaved quite well in the elements. They also run very smooth and quiet, and I feel like my vehicle handles quite well with these tires. I drive frequently so it's only been 1 month but I've already put about 1000 miles on them and have no complaints. I'll add it to my review when I've gotten a little more use out of them and update their performance at that time. So far, so good. If you are looking for a good set, I tell you not to be indecisive, play it safe with Michelin tires, buy these. I am convinced that these tires will prove their worth for a long time... and I will buy again if/when necessary...! There are many tires, many cheaper, but the quality and price of a good tire, you can't go wrong.

The tires were offered for a fair price, which included a military discount. I am very satisfied with the tire's performance and handling. I have only had them for a few months, but have taken a few multi-state trips and the tires handled great on the Interstates.

This is the 3rd set of this set of tires that I have purchased for this truck. All of them have given me more miles that the warranty will cover and the handling and comfort have always been top notch. I originally purchased them because i was told the noise was very low. This has been true, I hear very little road noise. That’s saying a lot because this truck has been driven across the country 3 times.

Tires wore faster than should have. After alittle over 30000 miles on them will need replacing. Had rotations done on timely recommended times. These were my first tire type as I always ran the Michelins A/T before on my RAM and they all lasted. I now am researching other brands also, My driving habits at my age and keeping my Truck serviced don't warrant they should be worn so quickly, so frustrated at this point. No off road driving, most just highway or in town, only 1 tire had to be replaced after about 9 months after hitting large bolt. I did like the handling and quietness.

I HAVE BEEN A MICHELIN CUSTOMER FOR YEARS AND HAVE HAD MANY SETS OF DEFENDER LTX TIRES . ALWAYS PLEASED WITH THE RIDE AND COMFORT OF THE TIRES. THIS IS MY FIRST SET OF DEFENDER LTX M/S 2'S. TIRES CAN'T BE BALANCED AND LOPE WHEN DRIVING. DEALER HAS SAID THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO. IF I CAN'T GET ANY RESOLUTION FROM MICHELIN I WILL TAKE THEM OFF AFTER ONLY 5000 MILES OF USE AND SWITCH TO COOPER. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THESE NEW 2 SERIES TIRES. HELP MICHELIN AS I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR DECADES.

The Michelin Defender had everything I was looking for in a set of new wheels. The tires are very well made, strong and sturdy and most importantly, they make me feel safe on the road. These tires provide a smooth ride on the highway and are rugged enough for our back country roads. The tread wear life is impressive and I feel for the life and wear and tear of these tires, that they are a good investment. I like the deep tread pattern and noticed during the rainstorm that the tires gripped the road and they are weather proofed very well. I felt safe during all of my recent commutes.

for me your sure with Michelin , the durability is 120,000 km for sure if you perform tire rotation ,on a regular base , handling is very nice , no road noise at ALL. traction good year a round , performance better on fuel by 1.5 liter to / 100 km, use less
