They were beautiful

My husband, two of my granddaughters and I wanted to take flowers to a nursing home. I purchased the 150 carnations so that each resident would be able to get two along with a piece of candy. We would leave the others at the nurses station. After reading the reviews, it was suggested to order these a few days before you needed them so that they could open. I received them on a Thursday and was going to use them on a Sunday. When I received them, they were in a very small box and that made me very nervous. I opened up the box and they were wrapped in groups of 25. I was not happy with what I saw. I put them in a bucket of water with 2 of of the flower packets. Day one I was very disappointed, but I prayed. Day two nothing and I prayed. Day three my husband and I cut about 4 inches off of the carnations and put them into freshwater with a flower packet. Sunday, the day that we needed them, every single flower bloomed. They were absolutely beautiful. We took them to the nursing home and the faces of the residence just lit up. I was very happy with the way the flowers turned out. I also know that prayer helps. For some reason, it won’t allow me to download the pictures that I took of the flowers.

Definitely needs the time to re-hydrate. Lots of blooms!
