Working as advertised.

Didn't realize this was not the 48" tower fan Sam's Club usually has. In a hurry & my 48" was otherwise occupied, needed another. Slim means smaller & it is. Much less air flow than the 48". Louder at 4 of 4 speed. Seems flimsy in construction & material, likely why it was $10 off. Torn between 2 star & 3 star but went with 3 star because it is adequate as basic unit. **Display for fan speed only visible from top of device & not from front when operating with remote & display goes out until button pressed again--a nod to "International energy conservation & Greenies" which just means an inconvenience to me. No battery included (2 AAA needed), always a sign of cheaping out on a product. Remote has no hook on it for hanging on fan but slots in a space at back. To take it out slip fingernail or bit of finger under bottom of remote--likely a problem for women with longer cosmetic nails--need more space under remote to get it out. Fan adequate for small area in a pinch. Base snapped together OK but not fully in place, again a sign of lesser quality. If a fan for a small area is needed this is OK but not near the 48 Incher in output or quality. When my 48 incher is back I will move this one to another location.

I bought this fan this evening. My local club had it on an endcap between two round fans. I have an older Lasko 46" fan and it puts this one to shame. This fan is cheaply made. Yes, it's quiet and lightweight but even on the highest setting, it doesn't blow as strong as my 46" on it's lowest setting. Keep shopping and save your money for something better. This one isn't worth it. I'm returning it tomorrow!

Ran every trouble shooting option provided in the manual, still will not power on. Unfortunate because it feels and looks like a solid and aesthetically appealing unit. On our 90 degree week moving into a new house without A/C this had me frustrated, to say the least.

I do not recommend this fan. It has a loud humming noise. So it's not suitable for a bedroom, or livingroom. And it does not come with batteries for the remote. So you'll have to purchase those as well. And there is not much of a breeze. Your better off buying a box fan. Very disappointing lasko. 😞

Quiet & cools room well

I am really impressed with this fan. It looks great - tall, thin, unobtrusive - and it runs quietly and effectively, keeping me cool. It is perfect for my use and comfort. I would most definitely recommend this fan for single room use, such as in a bedroom or living room.

This fan runs wierd. Sometimes, it only has one speed. Sometimes the fan doesn't run at all even though it displays 4 (high speed). Sometimes it won't oscillate. Sometimes, the television remote operates the fan. What the what. This does not bode well for a quality product. Disappointed in this purchase.
