[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It says high velocity. The output of air is very poor. I turned it to %231 and barely anything came out. %232, a little air came out. %233 is the setting that %231 should have been. %234 was better, but still not the greatest. If I'm going to pay almost $60 for a fan, it had better work really well. This one did not. Disappointed.

LASKO makes excellent fans. This tower one is new to me. Pretty easy setup. Bottom stand is a different but works. Love the remote control. I’ve bought 2-3 LASKO standing fans from Sam’s about 3 years ago and had no problems. They're hard working, dependable and reasonably priced. A good investment. V Gorden

This particular Lasko fan gets only 3 1/2to 4 stars from me because of its stand/mount. It’s an overall good fan that oscillates quietly and the fan isn’t necessarily too loud at night when sleeping. The only issue I have is when you need to move it, the base comes off and can be a little frustrating placing it back on.

It's a great fan - not super quiet but not annoyingly loud - it's in a corner in my office and does the job just fine. Remote is a great tool. Takes a couple presses to get the oscillating function to connect - not sure why - but it's not a big deal. Product is great for the money.

Very nice fan. Oscillation works smoothly and a nice flow of air. Pretty easy to assemble and stands sturdy on hardwood floor. My only complain - too quiet. I wanted it for white noise, but even in the highest setting it is too quiet. You can watch a TV that is twelve feet away, sitting next to the fan and not have a problem hearing it.

EXCELLENT !!!!!! These fans were highly recommended to me by a trusted friend, who had several years experience of owning/using the same fans himself, so I took his recommendation and was immediately glad I had, at first use. My intro description of "excellent", in all CAPS, is no accident, just emphasis of how much I would recommend, to others. !!Lastly, please know that I live in one of the hottest locations in the entire United States, so these fans are put to the test every single day, and pass the test

Works amazing my ac broke in my apartment bought this and had my ceiling fan on and it worked amazing in my living room in the rooms that had no ceiling fans it was still amazing and worked wonders bad reviews may have been defected items with can happen I live in Arizona and the sun hits my door directly throughout the day

These Lasko Upright Fans are great. I just replaced (1) that was over 14 yrs old (still worked but wasn't oscillating as well anymore, didn't know how to fix it either), the other one still works well (also over 14 yrs old) %26 use in one BR. I purchased 2 new ones, few months ago (2024), still same great quality, works great %26 best part: they're slim %26 take up so little space, easy to move around to put in any room --light weighted. Yes would recommend anyone considering buying tower fans, to buy these.

So far the fan is a great addition to combating the hot muggy days. I am not a “fan” person for the most part but I place this fan at the end of the hallway at night so the cold air from the living area where air conditioner lives blows down the hall to the bedrooms. Works great for that purpose.

The lowest setting is VERY low, almost worthless, but there are 3 levels above that. Having a remote is nice, but it seems to only work from directly in front of the fan and from higher than the top of the fan (so if you're sitting down and the fan isn't aimed at you, it probably isn't going to work).
