I have 3 tower fans on my deck. I used to have two, they are 15 years old. One died and so recently I bought two more. They have different speeds and they rotate. I use 1 by my two lounge chairs and 2 near the dining round table for 6. I made covers for them so I leave them outside all summer. They are great. The price of 49.99 was very resaonable.

The lowest setting is VERY low, almost worthless, but there are 3 levels above that. Having a remote is nice, but it seems to only work from directly in front of the fan and from higher than the top of the fan (so if you're sitting down and the fan isn't aimed at you, it probably isn't going to work).

These Lasko Upright Fans are great. I just replaced (1) that was over 14 yrs old (still worked but wasn't oscillating as well anymore, didn't know how to fix it either), the other one still works well (also over 14 yrs old) %26 use in one BR. I purchased 2 new ones, few months ago (2024), still same great quality, works great %26 best part: they're slim %26 take up so little space, easy to move around to put in any room --light weighted. Yes would recommend anyone considering buying tower fans, to buy these.

Very nice fan. Oscillation works smoothly and a nice flow of air. Pretty easy to assemble and stands sturdy on hardwood floor. My only complain - too quiet. I wanted it for white noise, but even in the highest setting it is too quiet. You can watch a TV that is twelve feet away, sitting next to the fan and not have a problem hearing it.

We bought this for a week long beach trip in the camper and it was a game changer! With the a/c running constantly trying to keep up and this fan was slim enough to be out of the way and feel it across the camper! We even bought a second one for our house!

So far the fan is a great addition to combating the hot muggy days. I am not a “fan” person for the most part but I place this fan at the end of the hallway at night so the cold air from the living area where air conditioner lives blows down the hall to the bedrooms. Works great for that purpose.

I ordered this online to save time of the 45 min drive to the store. When I received the fan I assembled the bottom, put batteries in the remote, plugged it in and it wouldn't turn on. not even with the remote. I had to drive to the store and thinking I could just exchange only to find out the store doesn't do exchanges. But they did refund my money, only the same fan in the store cost $10.00 more and the online sale cost had all ready expired.

Getting one of these was to be so thrilled with the size and shape and excellent cooling of the surrounding air that I bought another! Easy to assemble and portable enough to take it from my den/office area and move it into my bedroom to continue the cooling breeze process that daily delights! VERY happy with anything LASKO for years, and these 2 fans in my home have given me daily cooling joys during the hottest of days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It says high velocity. The output of air is very poor. I turned it to %231 and barely anything came out. %232, a little air came out. %233 is the setting that %231 should have been. %234 was better, but still not the greatest. If I'm going to pay almost $60 for a fan, it had better work really well. This one did not. Disappointed.

Works amazing my ac broke in my apartment bought this and had my ceiling fan on and it worked amazing in my living room in the rooms that had no ceiling fans it was still amazing and worked wonders bad reviews may have been defected items with can happen I live in Arizona and the sun hits my door directly throughout the day
