I ordered this generator about 2 weeks ago to power our new Fifth Wheel on our new land. I received it via Fed Ex a week later. I got some time after work to test drive it at home a few days later. The first time set up directions were very clear and I was ready to take it outside and fire it up within about 15 minutes. I was able to easily attach the propane tank and start the generator. It ran well and I had a large fan for some sort of minor load on it. Powered the fan just fine. For the physical size and power output size of the generator it was not extremely loud. If you were parked tightly in with lots of other campers it may be a minor nuisance but I am pretty impressed with the overall noise level. I plan on using/building some kind of baffle. I have not been to my fifth wheel and land with this generator yet but I believe there will be enough distance from any neighbors for it not to be a nuisance at all. I have not and may not run this on gasoline. I am glad I ordered the generator with the option to use propane instead since we have a local deal on propane and gas prices are insanely high right now. *Will update review later after I get some more serious use out of this generator.*

We could not get the generator to work. I called the number I had in the information you sent. The person who answered could not fix the problem. Took my information and said someone would call me the next day. ThAt was on Monday Sept 2. Today is Sept 5. I’m still waiting. I guess I’ll wait for ever.

iGEN4500D/F delivery a day early, Easy assembly: add oil & gas, connect battery lead. ran for 4 hours, then tested under load & ,voltage was consistent. switched over to propane ,was smooth with some hesitation to be expected ,low idle was not as smooth but acceptable. operated well under load. I was not able to connect to my RV it is in storage. but operated under load for an hour from 1500- 3150 watts. I also want to note this is the 04511REV01 . does not have carb/choke issues as previous one have had. I will do a follow up after I test on my RV !!

Really like this inverter generator it’s my first electric starter. Like the dual fuel setup. Starts quick in15degree weather. The only complaint I have is the opening to change the oil is to small to get my hand in to take the dipstick out and put it back in spent about 1/2 hour to add the oil, you need to make that opening bigger I know I’m not the only person with big hands. That’s is my only complaint.

This is an awesome generator and a proven well built unit. Upon receiving, I pulled access panels to inspect the factory quality control. To my surprise I found many nice added features I didn’t expect. For example is the rubber plug to allow oil to be drained easily. Also to carburetor has a drain tube attached for easily draining carb and fuel tank when needed for storage. The included oil will fill the engine, leaving you an ounce or so for adding if needed during break in. Use the provided oil during break in, then you can stay with the mineral oil or go to synthetic. Upon inspection, the interior bolts were properly tightened. All wiring was routed, strapped and protected. Taking an interior look at the build revealed plenty of noise insulation, a blower system on the end of the crankshaft provides great air flow to the exhaust/muffler area for cooling and forcing heat out of the unit and drawing cooling air into the interior. Easy access to the air cleaner, spark plug, carburetor, fuel drain, valve cover and fuel filter is accomplished by removing right access cover. The included battery had 12.7 volts before charging to freshen the battery and the quick disconnect battery harness is a very nice extra. The engine is nicely rubber mounted and purred quietly, smoothly and especially on the echo mode which allows the engine to slow substantially when a large load is not needed, which extends efficiency. The only thing I found inspecting the unit was the engine valve cover breather hose was not pushed completely onto the intake manifold box and had no clamp. When removing panels, ensure you have removed all anchor bolts and note some are hidden under rubber weather plugs. Exterior panels pop off easily, when all anchor bolts removed. Picture attached reflect some of the items described in this review. The price of this I-gen 5000DF is very competitive for a generator of this quality and I’m very pleased initially. After some use camping I may update my findings.

Seems good Just got it started right up. Doesn't appear to be used but did seem to be full of oil. Started right up on propane. Quiet for a 4000 generator, but not super quiet. Easy to move, fairly light, lots of features, seems good. I'll leave another review after a year.

Directions/QuickStart was easy to follow and started up immediately. Remote start/stop, pull start and manual stop all worked as expected. Little funnel for oil was nice and sealed with no spillage. Appreciate that little detail. Not a long use review but out of the box I’m impressed.

I bought this product close to two weeks now I tested it with gasoline and so far so good. It worked as suggested set up was easy, one push and start immediately, appliances work well according to the wattage load. It is not too load, I also like the features showing the fuel level, power output, remaining running time, voltage and the run time hours. Good product!

I bought two of these instead of paying for the ONAN 5500 option on my new Grand Designs 5th Wheel. About 1/3 the price, nearly twice the Wattage and double the amperage when joined together with the Westinghouse cord. They fit easily in the bay where the ONAN would have sat, with room to spare! Runs all three AC units, water heater, fridge, etc... without any issues. Dual Fuel a bonus as well! Definitely pay attention to the specs for jetting based on altitude. Comes from factory jetted for under 2000'. I live at 6000' so had to swap out jets in carbs and nozzles on regulartors for propane. Super quiet, ultra portable, such a great value!

I personally bought a Igen4500DF for myself that has perfirmed flawlessly, and decided to get a second igen4509DF for my parents. I put oil and gas in the new, pressed the button once and it started right up. Threw on a hair dryer for load and ran it till the gas finished.
