I bought this particular Inverter generator after alot of research, it has the power I need for my 30 amp rv, remote start, dual fuel for versatility and it will fit in the back of my tow vehicle. It will also be used as a back up for our home's refrigerator.

When I open the box I discovered the generator was packaged in the box upside down. There is some damage on the plastic housing and The connections on the battery were bent and the battery was flipped upside down inside The battery compartment and I found the plastic cover for the battery compartment laying in the bottom of the bag with some of the foam sound proofing Tore off the cover I was able to fix the connections on the battery and put the cover back on Now that I had the battery hooked up I put oil in it and hooked it up the propane the unit started right up so I put two different loads on it a space heater And a fan Separately. Digital data center Only read 0000 No power output and no voltage and lifetime run hours The propane connection it’s not centered so the cover doesn’t seal it. I shopped a long time and finally decided to buy this unit for our new 33' travel trailer. No other generator in the 3500-4500w class had the amount of features that the iGen4500DF had. Dual-fuel capable, remote start, pull start, and electric start, quality gauge readout with meaningful info, integrated battery charger, the ability to run fuel out of the carb during shutdown, <100lbs, easy to manuever, 59db noise levels, and long runtimes. This thing checked all the boxes, where none of the other generators could. Nice work Westinghouse.

I bought this last month. Thankfully haven't had to use it yet. Cranked easily first try and ran quietly. Too heavy for a 65 year old woman to pick up but old woman and old man husband were able to pick up and set on back of truck. has an extension handle and rolls easily.

I ordered the iGen4500DF in early June and it finally arrived in late October. I added oil and hooked up the battery and ran the generator on propane. The generator ran fine and started with both the start button on the control panel and the remote. I removed the access panel to look at the air cleaner and noticed that one of the plastic tabs used to hold the panel in place had broken and was still in place in the rubber grommet which retains the tab when the panel is closed. I have added a couple photos of the broken tab. I am disappointed that this broke the very first time I removed the access panel, I hope the rest of the generator holds up much better than the panel did! Time will tell whether the generator turns out to be a good reliable piece of equipment.

Happy with the purchase it replaces a Coleman 5000 which was very loud, this one is very quiet. My only issue is the side panel on the carb side does not sit flush if there was a screw instead of a post in that spot it would be perfect but it hits the carb and pushes it out slight. Only cosmetic so it can be lived with.

I purchased this item a few weeks ago. I live inside a national forest where it winds and rains often blowing branches onto power lines causing power loss for many hours at a time. This occurs about 30 times a year, shortest downtime being an hour and longest being 6 days. Last week I lost power twice for about 12 hours each time and this unit kept my kitchen area and frig running perfectly, saving about $600 worth of frozen/cooled items, twice, hence $1,200 saved by a unit that cost less than that just in 2 weeks! Easy to connect and very quiet to run.

I just unboxed and the instructions were very clear to set this unit up. We filled the oil, connected the battery and hooked up the propane and with the push of a button, it fired right up. This generator is very quiet without any load and I'm sure will be similarly quiet with a load. We are ready to go camping in the middle of nowhere now!

I was looking for a QUIET generator that could run on propane for my trailer. Visited with a company who converts generators to propane. He suggested this model. It even has a remote start/stop. We can stay in the trailer and start the generator. It has met and exceeded our expectations. Followed the instructions for the break in period. We are very happy with it.

I just unpacked it today and set it up. Ran it on propane first and then tried it on gas. The battery wouldn't start it, it was weak and so I gave a couple of pulls on the rope and it started right up. Everything seems to work, plugged into the RV, ran the microwave, tried a power saw, heater. Seemed to respond as expected. It was only missing the bolt to connect the battery, so that slowed things down a bit until I was able locate one that would work. Seems to be well made.
