When knew we had a power outage coming so we purchased this generator we didn’t have a 30 amp plug so we used the two 120 plugs that are on it. We ran two refrigerators TV microwave and a few lights and it had no problem. I can only imagine if we use the 30 amp side How much power would’ve had, but it had plenty to run everything even off at the 120 plugs

I bought this generator for use as a backup power source during outages. Ran on both propane and gas and it runs perfectly. I looked at several brands and selected the iGen4500DF because of the features such as dual fuel, electric start, plenty of power, display panel, it is relatively quiet for a decent price.

4500DF came packaged very well,Instructions were very easy to fallow through and came with everything needed to set up and start. during the 5 hour break in period ran it 3 hours on propane side and 2hours on gas side no problems either side Great unit !

I ordered two of these and received them amazingly fast (ordered on the 3rd, received on the 7th). They are very nice looking, compact, well thought out design. As I was removing the oil dipstick, I did consider that it’s a little fumbley for those with normal to large hands. I haven’t actually used them yet, but they insist I do the review now if I want a free cover. So far, so good!

I bought this to upgrade from my Honda EU2000i. The power output, dual fuel and electric start were all major pluses. We live at 8,000' so I installed the high altitude jet and regulator nozzle. There was a fair amount of disassembly/reassembly but it was straightforward. So far very pleased.

I purchased the iGen 4500DFc after many hours of research over a 2-week period. I went back and forth between inverters and larger open-frame models. In the end, I decided I don't really need to power a lot of items at once, but I want the capability to power more than just one or two small items. This one fell in between, and when combined with the dual fuel capability, CO sensor, and quiet operation, I knew it was the right choice for me at this time. Power outages are fairly infrequent and short duration in my area, so I hope to never need it. However, I will set it up and maintain it regularly so it will be reliable insurance if it is needed.

I tested this inverter generator as soon as it arrived and it powered my RV on both propane and gas. All features worked as they should ... I really like the start/stop remote control, the rather low weight, carry handles, etc. Here's to hoping it lasts for several year.

A lot quieter than expected. Ran great out of the bow once fuel, oil and battery connection taken care of as outlined in startup guide. I don’t know if these generators are pre-tested at factory. The gas fill was wet with fuel and oil dip stick had oil on it. There was no sign of use on tires or any where else. Pleased so far.

It has not only met but truly exceeded my expectations. This unit has proven itself to be a remarkably reliable power solution during the hurricane season. When the Westinghouse iGen5000DF dual fuel inverter generator arrived, the box itself was a bit dinged up, which was a minor concern at first. However, once unpacked and set up, it was perfectly fine and has consistently performed as expected. I haven't noticed any power surges or irregularities. It just reliably puts out the power it's rated for. The dual-fuel capability is great because it’s hard to get gas when the hurricanes are heading our way. The controls are intuitive enough. I've also been impressed by its noise level; it runs noticeably quieter than some other units I've encountered in the past. All in all, the Westinghouse iGen5000DF has been a dependable piece of equipment. It simply works, providing consistent, relatively quiet power, and the dual-fuel feature is a real bonus for practical use. It ran our fridge, fans, some lights, air fryer and charged our phones at the same time.

Just received this yesterday. Easy unpacking, and very good startup information. Did all the prep, hooked up the propane, checked the lines, used the starter button and it fired right up! Very quiet generator. Put a load on it which ramped it up slightly, but still nice and quiet. Very pleased so far, can't wait to try it on the RV!
