I bought this generator in May but delivery was in June. Arrived in perfect shape, Easy to set up for operation, very good instructions (unusual in this day and age) and started right up on propane and gasoline. Very quite. Even put it under load from our portable A/C and it ran flawlessly on gasoline. Unfortunately, I was shortsighted and hooked up a propane tank that ran dry shortly after start-up...my bad. Very happy with it so far. By not means lightweight but still manageable for a 70 year old. Would definitely purchase again, if fact, we are thinking of getting another and pairing them to power our 50amp 5th wheel.

Set up was relatively easy except for incomplete info in manual re initial start up steps…in particular p16 “BEFORE STARTING THE GENERATOR”, step 3 “turn the fuel valve to the ON position. Where the heck is the Fuel Valve? Had to find some helpful youtube video to solve the mystery. Also the choke is not clearly located. Love the electric start. Really love the remote start, but the manual pull is a last resort for someone with bad shoulders.

At exactly two years and 4 camping trips the electric start quit working. Contacted Westinghouse and they send me a new starter under warranty. Problem is there are no instructions or diagrams available and it appears that the engine has to be removed to access the starter. Wish I bought a Honda….had one for years and it was trouble free.

I purchased this product to replace my Champion Generator. The IGen4500 has so far worked flawlessly right out of the box. It is considerably lighter and better built than my current genset. After the break in period we camped in the Northeast for over five days and the IGen4500 powered our RV and all its accessories. We are taking out again in a few weeks for a longer trip and I expect meeting and exceeding my needs and expectations.

We just bought this generator at the beginning of December knowing the we get many power outages in the winter months. We just had to give it a trial run and it worked beautifully! We had zero issues with startup. The unit is quiet, much quite than we anticipated, which we love! The remote start is a really neat bonus feature as well. We're confident this is the perfect generator for our families needs. Highly recommend!

This is a great product for a reasonable price compared to other brands. But the customer should not have to immediately tear the product apart to repair the choke. This is a common problem...so common there are videos of the repair online everywhere. The cable connecting the choke to the control board was not hooked up.

Product arrived damage free. Quick start instructions were clear and easy to follow. Set the device up on propane and had it up and running in a short time. I can’t believe how quiet this generator is, you can stand beside and talk … at normal levels …. Amazing. Lots of info available via the Digital display concerning, fuel levels, operating info and output info as well. We had actually made this decision on this generator last year but they were out of stock, so we decided to wait.....So Glad we Did. Absolutely a Great purchase. Always true with Westinghouse products.

just received this last night unboxed and put oil in. this morning i put gasoline in it, it took a few tries for it to start but thats normal for new gas engines fuel needs to get to the carb. after letting it run for a couple of minutes i put a load on it no problem at all best part is how quiet it is i have other generators and the will wake up the neighborhood not this one so far so good hope it lasts a long time

I tested this out for a couple of hours and it met all my expectations as an inverter generator. Pros include great control panel, easy set-up / start, and very smooth operation overall. I hooked up everything I wanted and still couldn't get this thing over 50% utilization! Cons are minor, but I have no clue where they get 52db noise level--we measures and even from 25ft away it was above 60db. The oil situation is also difficult--when first filling, it slightly overfilled and spilled oil all over the enclosed inside frame. The oil spout is tough to get to, and draining the oil looks like it will be a pain without some sort of custom solution for oil to actually exit the enclosed frame via the cutout hole on the bottom. But overall, really good generator and I am happy with the purchase.

Fast start up was easy to follow. A detailed manual comes with it, along with required bottle of oil and spout. Tools are also furnished when needed. It is quiet and started the second pull using gasoline. The duel fuel option is nice too. I believe it’s a good purchase.
