Purchased 1 month ago for my horse trailer with living quarters. It is perfect for what I want. I started immediately with the wonderful remote on propane fuel, it powers the air conditioner, convection microwave, and everything else that I have even though I do not yet have the high altitude regulator for the propane. I am female, and I have never owned a generator before, I was worried that it would be complicated and difficult, but it could NOT be easier to use. So far, I could not be more impressed and happy with this purchase.

It started with ease out off the box after connecting battery, adding fuel and oil. Have used with gas and propane with no issues. Very quiet even under load. Wife and daughter both find it easy to use which makes me happy and confident it will be used and help during a power outage or emergency.

I bought this unit as a power backup, and to be able to carry it to other sites that need power. Unboxing and setup was a breeze. The unit is a little heavy, but manageable. After unboxing, and fowllowing the set up instructions the unit cranked up immediately. I've only run the unit with gas, have not tried propane yet. The electric and remote start are a definite bonus. I've only used the unit just for breaking in, but it powered two deep freezers and refrigerator without any issues.

I ordered this generator about 2 weeks ago to power our new Fifth Wheel on our new land. I received it via Fed Ex a week later. I got some time after work to test drive it at home a few days later. The first time set up directions were very clear and I was ready to take it outside and fire it up within about 15 minutes. I was able to easily attach the propane tank and start the generator. It ran well and I had a large fan for some sort of minor load on it. Powered the fan just fine. For the physical size and power output size of the generator it was not extremely loud. If you were parked tightly in with lots of other campers it may be a minor nuisance but I am pretty impressed with the overall noise level. I plan on using/building some kind of baffle. I have not been to my fifth wheel and land with this generator yet but I believe there will be enough distance from any neighbors for it not to be a nuisance at all. I have not and may not run this on gasoline. I am glad I ordered the generator with the option to use propane instead since we have a local deal on propane and gas prices are insanely high right now. *Will update review later after I get some more serious use out of this generator.*

I have two other larger generators, but they are loud and have horrible harmonic distortion. That means the power being produced is "dirty." The Westinghouse iGen4500DF produces great clean power. I started the generator using propane, to start the genetator couldn't be easier. After adding the oil. I connected a propane tank with the included hose and regulator, turned the unit on and then pushed the start button. It was like pushing a push button the start your car! It started up and it was so QUIET. I added a couple of space heaters, it automatically increased RPMs to handle the load. It actually shows what percentage of available watts are be used. So many great features my other units don't have. Now I did read some reviews that talk about the auto choke not operating properly, not so with my unit. Bottom line: highly impressed with the unit and highly recommended.

We researched for months and came to the conclusion this was the generator we were looking for. We wanted the duel fuel option because it's much easier and safer to transport propane than gas. There was a Westinghouse competitor duel fuel option but the noise decibels were much higher. The extendable handle and wheels are a game changer for transporting around the campsite. Speaking of game changer...REMOTE START!!!! OMG we can start and stop this puppy from inside the RV. WHAT?!?!?! The only area of opportunity is the outer shell is easily scratched. Maybe a harder outer shell could be developed? Superficial but merits mention.

I bought this to take camping after renting generators for way too much $$ from the trailer folks that we have been renting trailers from. After doing lots of research on generator types, the difference between inverters and regular generators etc., I decided to purchase this bad boy. It's AWESOME. Our camping companions were jealous of how easily it starts, how much juice it puts out ON DEMAND, and how quiet it is. I ran it on Eco Mode the whole time and never once smelled any exhaust. All the while it clicked on with the push of a button whenever we wanted the AC, microwave, TV, or air compressor.

I recently received the generator as a gift to replace a conventional (non-inverter) generator. I set the generator up according to the directions and ran it using the propane feature. I tested all three starting methods (pull cord, electric start and remote) and found it ran great and is very quiet compared to my old one. I look forward to using it in the field.

I just received this a couple of days ago and the set up was easy. i connected it to propane turn on the switch pushed the remote start and it came to life. Add a 1000w load and let it run for 20min for a test run. post the remote off and it shutdown. Did a video and sent to my other family members. This will be great for over night fishing. Love it!

Super easy setup. I had it running within minutes of unboxing. I ran it on propane first. Used all three starting methods and it started first time with all three. I was able to start with the remote from over 120 feet away. Very solid, feel like great quality. I was blown away by how quiet this generator is, even when standing next to it. From 20 feet away it's just minor background noise.
