I have a 13,500 BTU AC unit on my RV Trailer. I can power it and watch a movie at the same time! So stoked! It only uses about 20% of the available output as well so I got plenty extra for my camping neighbors and/or other electronics. Thus far, I'm happy with my purchase and glad to see it was designed in Columbus, Ohio. It's user friendly and the remote start will come in handy on those cold mornings. I can't wait to use it camping this season.

Was pleased that the generator arrived in great condition. The instructions for preparation for use were very good and there were no missing parts. Have not had an opportunity to use it (fortunately the last hurricane had little impact on coastal Alabama). I really like the dual fuel capability and the quietness of the machine.

I purchased this unit after looking at the reviews and doing a lot of research. The unit is quiet fairly small for the amount of power output. It weighs a bit but all portable generators do. I purchased it for my travel trailer and am satisfied with the product.

I had tried to use the propane first and was unsuccessful. I then used gas to get it warmed up and running then switched over to propane and it worked. I think the directions should say that the oil supplied is premeasure. My first thought when I couldn't get it started that I may have to much oil. Also Westinghouse may want to give an instruction video on how to get it running out of the box. The ones on Youtube can be confusing and may make you mess up a brand new generator. Also you need to keep an eye out for the gasket that goes in the flat end of the propane hose. My biggest concern is that I contacted Customer Support and was on hold for 40 minutes just to get some basic info and was told someone will contact me back in 2 business days.That almost had me return it!

I purchased this generator and received it on time undamaged in the box. I followed the start up instructions and it started with no issues. Will be using it this weekend after the break in period. There were no rust issues around the gas fill area as I had previously seen on other reviews.

I just purchased this unit and did a break in process. 1 hour run on idle no load change oil ( break in oil ) ran 1 hour change oil ran 1 hour on 25% load 1/2 on gas 1/2 on propane changed oil and added 1 oz Lucas Engine Treatment. It has great features and I love the remote start !! Very quiet compared to other generators I’ve owned in the past . Looking forward to a great summer

This is my second Westinghouse and just getting the inverter model to protect my electronics plus I bumped uo the power a bit to cover more demand when needed. I will install a transfer switch to run selected circuits instead of running a long power cord. Paid a little extra but got all the bells and whistles. Very happy

I bought this item 6 months ago. We got out camper two months after that and tested everything out. The electric and remote start are a joke. They wouldn't work reliably. We did get it going and ran for a little while to test it's ability to handle our A/C unit. A couple months later I took it out to camp and NOTHING. It won't start. We went through all of the manual testing every possible option as well as watching YouTube Videos and reading service bulletins from Westinghouse and cannot get the product running. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

Have been researching inverter generators for our boondocking trips in our travel trailer. This model (4500DF) supplies equivalent power to a 30amp plug-in so we don’t have to worry about rationing our usage. Very impressed with the quietness of this model.

We needed a good generator to run our camper for boondocking and a back-up generator for home use. The iGen5000DFc is perfect. The dual-fuel capability is awesome and so convenient. It's small enough that a one person can handle it, albeit a strong adult person. We love it!
