Opened the box, put oil in and started right up on propane. Used the push button to start first then the remote. Added a quick disconnect to the propane line to make it easier. I also like the AC battery trickle charger. my Champion 3500DF doesn't have this and the battery won't start the generator have to use the pull start. Going to install Micro-Air soft start on the AC unit. I bought this unit from company that offered 3 year warranty

If your on the fence about what generator to get for camping or your RV buy this one! It’s super quiet and runs perfect! Running it is easy so anyone can do it. You know exactly how much fuel you have left, how much power your using and run time! Have the dual fuel is awesome piece of mind or if your worried about having a gas can around then you can use propane. This is awesome unit and I would definitely buy again.

Just purchased this generator and very impressed with its setup. Love all the features and the designs. Connected the battery, put oil and gas in it, it fired right up using/testing all 3 start methods (push button, remote and pull cord). Tested the output and all voltages look good. Will update if needed after we go camping.

I purchased the iGen4500DF to power our camper when remote camping. It has enough power to run all our appliances and do it quietly. After months of researching generators, I chose this for it output and features, which are pufect for our size camper. I am very impressed with this generator and would recommend it to all.

Product arrived damage free. Quick start instructions were clear and easy to follow. Set the device up on propane and had it up and running in a short time. I can’t believe how quiet this generator is, you can stand beside and talk … at normal levels …. Amazing. Lots of info available via the Digital display concerning, fuel levels, operating info and output info as well. We had actually made this decision on this generator last year but they were out of stock, so we decided to wait.....So Glad we Did. Absolutely a Great purchase. I just purchased the iGen4500DF because of the features, duel fuel, and remote start! Can’t wait to be in my trailer on a chilly evening and be able to start my generator from inside! This little baby was packed well and came undamaged! Instructions are well laid out down to when you should complete general maintenance. All items were accounted for in the box and can we talk about the extended handle for easy moving!

I purchased this generator during a cyber monday sale, and couldn’t find a better generator for the price and with all of the features we want. The carbon monoxide shut off is a huge peace of mind for us! As far as I can see westinghouse is the only company to sell a propane generator in California!

We haven't had to use this for an extended amount of time but we have fired it up with both propane and gas and after a few times troubleshooting the instant start, it worked perfectly. Highly recommend for a smaller generator, that is easy to move and not super loud, for those power outages during hurrican season, easy to store.

This inverter generator has all the features I need. Electrict start is great for us older people. Being able to use propane is a big plus because I don't have to be concerned with gasoline and the problems of storing gas in the unit. I previously had am older generac generator and there is no comparison. Noise level is low. My old generator was extremely loud. I also like the info panel that shows voltage as well as other info. My old generator was putting out high voltage and I was unaware if it. I have test run my new unit but have not had to use it yet. All in all I believe this will be a great unit.

I researched generators for our Toy Hauler for over a year and finally decided on this Westinghouse iGEN4500DF. The dual fuel is perfect! Easy start up and operation. VERY quiet. Weighs under a hundred pounds so can be lifted and moved with ease. Even easier with the pull out handle that makes it as easy as pulling my old little red wagon! All controls and indicators are easily read and understood. Very well engineered! Works great with our 30 AMP RV hook up. In future, will be off road boondocking for sure!
