Satisfied with purchase

We bought three bags and all three were of good quality with no bugs or unhulled grains. We bought this rice to package for long-term storage in mylar bags given the problems going on with the threats Russia is making. Be realistic about your expectations; at this price point and given the nature of the product, infestations are bound to happen sooner or later. If that is unacceptable you can always pay a significant premium for the fancy rice in clear plastic 1 lb. bags at Wal-Mart that you can fully inspect the rice through.

Amazing price...but not worth it

Rice is an inexpensive staple food (or at least it used to be. To be fair, this Member's Mark Long Grain is about as cheap as any rice you'll find, and for what it is it's a steal. That said, I'll pay more for better rice. I've tried Basmati, Jasmine, medium, short grain, brown, etc. For me, it's all about Jasmine rice. The aroma, texture, and flavor is superior to regular Long Grain. Also, you have to rinse this enriched Long Grain wasting vitamins and water. You have to because it will be an unpleasant gluey mess if you don't. No thanks. The aroma just isn't pleasant either. It tastes OK if you wash it thoroughly and don't add too much water cooking it. I'll stick with Member's Mark Thai Jasmine rice. It's much easier to prepare since you don't need to rinse it, plus it smells and tastes worlds better.

Horrible

I would start off by saying Sam’s Club to continue to sell this product without more QA is a huge risk. By allowing customers to buy rice with large pebbles mixed in the size of the rice gains (or even bigger). is a huge red flag. This is a huge risk so please do better someone could really crack a tooth or even worse. I also found a lot of husks mixed in.
