It's great to save almost 5% with these gift cards, but you have to be careful! You can only use 4 types of payment on any single Southwest transaction. Typically that means 3 gift cards and then a credit card to cover the balance. This caused a problem when I bought three packs of these gift cards to cover my family's travel. I had to book each person individually and I had to book the children via the phone so they wouldn't get charged an unaccompanied child fee. Great value, just be aware of Southwest's limitations for use.

This is a great value, but only if you're careful. As of 10/2/17 Southwest's website accepts only 2 gift cards max, so if your airfare costs more than $150, you can use 2 of these $50 gift cards, and then you must put the balance on your debit or credit card, even though you still have another $50 gift card left. If you bought the $500 gift card, you should be fine.
