Was a little surprised to see these Crab Cakes, they aren't Maryland Blue Crabs, altho I don't think they specifically said they were, altho they did kind of suggest, (Maryland Blue Swimming crabs). However, they were better than what they have had in the past, which were Non-USA Crabs, maybe Indonesian crabs, which creep me out. They tasted OK, but reminds me that I do want to go back to Baltimore or Annapolis to get the real McCoy. But these will be a little more than 3 bucks each.

I'm surprised at so many negative reviews. I can only assume that those reviewers don't know what a good crab cake is. I grew up around the Chesapeake Bay and the crab cakes in the restaurants there are among the very best. These crab cakes are very close to those. And the price is incredible.

With so many good reviews I was so excited to try these. Popped them in the oven at 400 and took them out. I was serving them along side short ribs with mashed potatoes. I took one bite and couldn’t even swallow it, the taste was awful. My guests agreed. The taste lingered even after a gulp of wine. Maybe I got a bad batch or something but I will definitely not be recommending these.

The best crab cakes I have ever purchased from a commercial store. The next best thing is to make your own crab cakes but these make the effort not worth it as they are that good 👍 I put them in the microwave at high for 2 minutes, then in a frying pan with a little butter to brown them up , they come out just great!

These were sooooo good. I bought them before reading the reviews. And then I read the reviews one day before attempting to finally make some. Most reviews were pretty good. But I’m a huge critic, so the very few bad reviews still had me concerned. I threw two in the oven and when they were done....OOOOH WEE!! I’m sad there’s only 6 a box. Between me and my boyfriend they will be gone in like 2-3 days. I will be grabbing 2-3 boxes next time.

I had 2 this evening. Excellent!! No shells and real crab meat! Would absolutely buy them again. Hard to believe that some reviews I read said they encountered lots of shells and no crabmeat. Maybe the person who made the ones I had was a better crab picker!

I don’t understand all the 4 and 5 star reviews. Maybe I should have tried baking them. I tried cooking them in a pan with oil and they fell apart as soon as they started getting warm. So I thought they would do better deep fried. All they did was absorb a ton of oil first, then started coming apart. I had baked some fish so ended using some of it as a topping over the fish. Not a very good flavor either. Way too expensive for such poor quality.

I baked these as instructed on the box. A super fishy smell permeated the house. The taste was tolerable when paired with Remoulade sauce and salad, but alone, it is unpleasantly mushy. I will try to coat the outside of the leftover crab cakes with panko and pan fry them to see if they can be salvaged. I wouldn’t buy these again.

I have never gotten a product that smelled so horrid cooking, enter an idiot. I actually put a very tiny bite in my mouth and was absolutely shocked that in this tiny bite I found 2 or 3 pieces of shell and of course it was probably not safe to eat anyway so I spit it out, Do not buy this product. I, however, do absolutely this brands fish fillets and buy several packages each time I place an order. Try those instead.

I have bought many of these as they were good for the price. !Recently bought four boxes (first time buying this many at once) because they are a good quick meal but was utterly disappointed. They, all of them, full of chunks of peppers - they were more of a pepper cake than a crab cake
