The seal of the jar was placed in someone's basement. Both of the ghee's seal was partially open and soaked spilled all over them. Good price though. Hope they are from grass fed butter as claimed.

I would not suggest this one to anyone as cow ghee. It is either mixed with buffalo ghee (white layer formed at the top after few days) or gone rancid.

Carrington Farms also sells an organic version that tastes better with deeper color, more flavor, and aroma. But sam's does not sell the organic variety of this product. Sam's sells what they call the Conventional Gheel. It's still good and better than using over-processed oils and fats and fake margarine, etc. In my opinion, for the quality and value, this is a five-star product as long as you know what you're getting and set your expectations accordingly.

Bought it today and tasted. Its very nice and tasty like Indian ghee.

I have no problem with the ghee. It's a great product and I've been buying it for years. All sams club location in my area decided to stop stocking it. I wish it were possible to give a zero star rating for that decision. I'm very displeased.
