These taste dreadful! JD apparently added different spices than in their patties used to make sausage-and-egg biscuits and croissants. These have a sort of a spicy Indian cuisine flavor, making me wonder what JD is trying to hide. These patties are small and freeze together in pairs that can't be separated without first thawing. My usual sources for frozen, precooked pork patties have recently stopped offering them, but these are not an acceptable alternative!

I have these for breakfast every day and used to buy them all the time from sams but ALWAYS Check the Best used by date on box. I got stuck with a couple boxes way past their date and they tasted Horrible . The last time I was in Sams 3 weeks ago the items they had were 10 Months past their best if used by date. Sams does a Horrible job checking dates on these items and it is only a matter of time until they get someone very sick from selling out of date items.

Haven't read many of the reviews but am I the only one to have a problem with the bulk packaging of this sausage? The box end closure with the two pointed tabs and slots needs to be replaced with a design more user friendly. If one opens the box more than three times the tabs get torn off or the corresponding slots get ripped open. I think the cereal box manufacturers have the basic closure design down pat and this could be implemented on the Jimmy Dean boxes. Great product, suspect packaging.

I am an older fellow living alone and this is a great tasting and easy breakfast to have. I bake fresh biscuits about once a week. The rest of the time I have rye toast. Sometimes I hard boil eggs ( a 1/2 doz. at a time ) and have a hard boiled egg with my sausage in the morning. I like the spicy when I can find them.

After my mom was killed in an head on c collision in 2019 I moved back home to help raise my 6yr old granddaughter. She wouldn't eat any sausage unless it was cooked by my mom. So I wanted to try Jimmy Dean pack. She absolutely loves these has 2 every morning. Thank you you have a Little Big fan.

INCREDIBLY salty. My daughter had purchased these and still had a little more than half of a box in her freezer. She was going away for the weekend and I was watching her dogs. She told me to go ahead and eat them if I wanted to because she did not like them. So I made some eggs, heat it up these patties and sat down to me. So incredibly gross - these things are inedible. I may as well have just fed myself a spoonful of salt with my eggs.

I have enjoyed your pre cooked sausage for years but could you please fix the packaging? There has been a steady down hill quality on being able to get the packaging open. It used to be easy to peel open but lately and especially today has been very frustrating to get open. All of the contents dumped on the floor because of how hard it was to open.

This is our togo brand of breakfast sausage. It is easy to cook and it tastes amazing. It is nice to always have on hand. We can take it camping with us and be able to have it cooked quickly when needed. It is a great price and the brand is always trusted. 

My husband loves Jimmy Dean Original Sausage Patties. They are pre cooked, so they only need to be reheated. We use it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We make grilled cheese sandwiches with a heated up Jimmy Dean sausage patty in the middle. It makes for a filling meal or snack.
