We have been eating these sausages for many years. (The taste is similar to the fresh pork sausage that my Father made each year for many, many years.) However, within the past 6 months, the quality of the product has gone from great to so-so. There is a noticeable amount of gristle and small bone particles in the product. It is not pleasant to find such in your food. We will not be purchasing this product further.

I purchased my first and last box of the fully cooked Jimmy Dean Sausage patties 3 months ago. The 30ozs. is less than 2 lbs. I too find that they are rubbery. I can get QUALITY fresh ground sausage at my local store, for less and make LARGE patties (to fit my biscuits) with LESS grease. They can be frozen, and reheated just as well. So good bye JD.

i am not usually a fan of sausage but the  Jimmy Dean® Original Sausage Patties had a really nice flavor. i thought they tasted really good. the thing that i would improve would be maybe a bigger box, other than that it was a great value for what i got. i will definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

These are so convenient and yummy! I have MS & was in a wheelchair for 8 months. I couldn't cook for myself. I had a mini refrigerator and microwave that I used that was wheelchair level. I purchased these and was blown away! The sausage patties are juicy and flavorful! Super easy to make in the microwave frozen or thawed. I mix it up for a little variety. Sometimes I use it chopped and add it to Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls or cups. It's also great on its own! I'm addicted to the taste and simplicity!

Absolutely enjoyed this one. Fast, easy and affordable if you have some extra cash. I love them on toast with cheese. Next I wanna try them with Texas toast. Great and amazing flavor especially for how small they are. I would recommend this to hurried breakfast lovers.

I've been buying this brand i know for over 10 years now... my kid loves this sausage for a quick breakfast food... it's great to add to eggs and heats up pretty quickly.... then you're out the door with a pretty filling food... the turkey flavor is good also!

This is the best breakfast sausages out there. I know there are other brands that makes this kind. But usually they are too fatty or has too much pepper in them or even chili. Like for real why is every frozen food out there has to be so spicy? This one is perfect. Tastes so good. I heat it up in the microwave and it's ready to serve.

Love me some good breakfast sausage and Jimmy dean is my go too. There are no cons only pros, it's not greasy, or very fatty and they have great flavor. They are also cheap and can be found at any grocery store. They pair well with just about anything.

My only complaint is I wish the patties were bigger. I use these to make home made egg mcmuffins. This is my go to sausage for them, even tho they are precooked. I still fry them in a frying pan before using them. I don't know if I'd trust them just in a microwave.

My husband and I ate this quite a bit back in the days before we became vegetarians.  It was tasty enough to satisfy your meat craving without additional fat/salt/even sugar in a typical sausage patties.  The patties were thin and you must be careful when microwaving.  If done too long, i'll give it a rubbery dry texture.  This is however, still a processed product so if you are into cleaner eating, I'd suggest making your own and eat something else for breakfast.  Other than that, it was a decent product for a decent price.
