I’ve used it now for about a week and after about day 4, I began to see a difference.It’s so easy to use, not messy or time consuming.You don’t have to rinse the product off teeth either. You leave the product on your teeth for 30 minutes before activating the light for three minutes. The results are great. We both smoke and drink dark soda or tea and our smiles are a natural white. Not a fake looking white. This didn't cause any sensitivity with our teeth either. So if you don't like using the led light for long periods of time and would rather use the activator, this teeth whitening system is for you.

A year isn’t that long seeing as how I only used the light 8 times in the very beginning - as I never even finished the whole round, and then once every few months for a refresher. The light turns on for about 5 seconds and then beeps and shuts off. Very disappointed since Crest says that the battery wouldn’t need replacing.
