Bought mine on HSN. Looked good for cutting, nice and quick. Charged mine to full and tried to cut a thin package of cardboard with plastic on it and struggled. Not any easier if I would've used a scissors. Not sure if blade is dull or not sharpening on the stone. Waste of money the way it is.

I got it a few weeks back and it quickly and easily reduces the small mountains of cardboard that result from shopping online to neat stacks. As a left handed individual, trying to carve through thick shipping materials with scissors was a pain, to say the least. With the ZipSnip it just glides right through with little to no effort. I haven't run the battery down yet so I can't judge how quickly it recharges, but that is also a plus because I haven't run the battery down yet!

I use it for everything! cereal bags,pet food bags,gift wrap and those anoying plastic clam shell packages.This is not ment for commercial hard use but for around the home can't be beat! I have a number of these (usually) great Tools. This was for My indoor Workshop. The tool has a terrible, VERY strong “Burned Electrical” odor. The smell from the Tool is so strong that it stinks up the Garage and any indoor space where it is. I have put it outside for several weeks and it still smells. Really terrible. None of the others I have smell at all. The Tool works fine. I gave up and just bought another one and as usual, it is fine. My time to fool around with returning this Tool is worth more right now than themTool, which I presume I will just trash. Come on, no-one could Package this without noticing the Burned ElectricmSmell.

I order a lot online & when I saw these thought it'd be great to help cut boxes. Cuts rugs as well. This also helps to prevent gashes. I enjoy this tool, use it often & am happy with it. I luv work products think they're phenomenal. Didn't see another product that came close to this anywhere & am glad I waited til this came back in stock, worth the wait.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm glad I did!! It is great for opening those plastic bubble packages that are the worst to use scissors on, you know the ones that things come in with the plastic "shell". This tool is a lifesaver as I have a hard time because of slight arthritis. Buy this! You won't be disappointed!!

I ordered this tool to cut the boxes into the size the trash would remove.This tool has been fantastic and a lifesaver in that regard.I already see many other uses and it will be a staple in my tool box!

Everything I have attempted to cut, has been quick and easy. The only downside I see so far, if you have small hands, these are a little large.
