We just bought 2 of these. Great for emergencies, but overall purchased for our RV in case we plan to boondock. Too big to fit into the alloted gen box in the rv, so we will be using them in the truck bed, until we order a carrier for the back, if we go that route. They do include the generator adapter, so even if the picture looks like its not gen ready, it is, so you are good to go. Definitely quiter than a regular generator. For a generator, easybto start. Remember, no generator is perfectly easy to start Llnkf the time, so keep that in mind. Overall, well made, functions well..love the built in handle and wheels.

Received quickly. Read instructions added oil and gas. Started on first pull (every time). Ran camper A/C, frig, lights and microwave. Generator handled all the appliances without any problem. It is less noisy than the air conditioner. Quick happy so far. We will see what happens in the long haul

Very reliable and reasonably quiet generator. Runs for at least 12 hrs on a full tank of fuel. Starts on the first pull. Not extremely heavy.

I just received this SUA3800i and was excited to try it out. It came really quickly via FedEx after I ordered it. It was packed neatly with no damage to the box. Light enough that the lady who delivered had no issue. I took it out of the box, added the oil that was included and some gas. Less than 5 minutes later, two pulls and it started right up. The digital display made it easy to analyze fuel level, power output, and power consumption. It was even quieter in eco mode. It came with tools, oil, funnel, and parallel cables. I checked out the outlets and they all worked as advertised. I would highly recommend this inverter to my friends!

We purchased this to fill two needs. One is to power our camping trailer when boondocking. The other is to power the house when power goes out. Shipping was timely. Unpacking was straight forward. After adding gas and oil and reviewing the instructions I pulled the starter and it fired on the first try. (Which really surprised me!) While we have not taken it camping yet it does power the trailer just fine and is nice and quiet and easy to move around, which is important to me as I have physical limitations. I have not tried it on the house yet hence the 4 star rating. I see no reason why it wouldn't work fine. All in all it's a nice little unit and I look forward to giving it a workout.

I opened the box and right off noticed black carbon beads all in the box and all over and in the generator. A lot of tiny black carbon beads! I had no idea where they came from or what their purpose was. I stopped immediately and reached out to Ai Power via email and after more than a week I have no response from them. So it is packed back in the box and I will be returning it to my Sam’s Club. I think perhaps the carbon beads were part of an air pre-filter but not sure about that.

I was excited about purchasing this Inverter generator. I followed all pre-start directions. The A-ipower generator starts up and engines with no problem. Digital readout shows the inverter is generating power - no power when you plug anything to the receptacles- there are no faults showing -no power at all. Really needed this since we have been with out of power in lake Charles for weeks.

You have to be your own repair man with this generator they send you the items and expect you to put it on yourself and fix the grounding wire with pictures they email you!

This review is all about the shipping time - originally shipping was suppose to be two days - it's been over a week and very little communication about the delay until I hounded customer support and then a burst of info and nothing for another couple days.

I bought this unit and it didn’t work. I thought I would give them another chance and had sams club send me a replacement. Well about within the year, it stopped working. Sams club would not honor a replacement because I had already received one previously. I can’t believe this. Now I’m stuck with it not working for me.
