It's hit and miss what you get in the box. Some of the chickens are good and about half of them are like a hard rubber and crunchy in taste terrible. Almost as if this is fake chicken. Somebody needs to report this to the health department and have it investigated

The chicken tastes ok if you can get one with good texture but the bun on this is horrible. My kids would not eat any of this after they tried the first one. They like the nuggets but between the horrible bun and chewy patty we will not be purchasing these sandwiches again. Waste of $17.

If by "southern style" they mean "tastes like butt" than ok its southern style alright. They smell like dirty gym shorts. I have two teenage boys that won't even eat them. The same box (1st and last) has been in our freezer for months now. Haven't had one yet that didn't have some gross hard thing in the meat.

I purchased these for myself when my wife & I are working different schedules for a quick easy meal. I didn’t know they had a overpowering pickle flavoring. I hate pickles on my sandwich’s as it ruins the whole meal for me personally. The flavor is so strong that I can’t eat them. I like to taste chicken when I have a chicken sandwich not imitation flavors. What a huge disappointment & a waste of money. Don’t think I will ever buy anything from the frozen section again. Save your money on this product. I wish I could give it a zero out of 5 stars.

Just tried these the other day. I used my oven to cook the chicken patty solo. It did give that texture that we clearly don't like. AIR FRY the patty solo then at the last minute add the bun. Omg chicken came out PERFECTLY done. I added the chickfila sauce. Nice copycat. Will definitely buy again.

Couldn't figure out what the smell and taste was until reading a bunch of the reviews... must be pickling spice added to the breading mix. I'm born and bread a southerner, Mom was a southern cook, this was a first for me as far as a 'southern style chicken sandwich'. Package says distributed from Arkansas, must be made by some misguided northerner. On the bright side, as it doesn't taste good, it won't make you sick and won't make you want to buy more.

I don’t usually review items but this chicken sandwich was delicious! I heard that it taste a lot like chick fil a so that is why I purchased! It really does! I took advice from other reviews and put in air fryer for 10 minutes instead of microwave, then I put some chick fil a sauce on it and it was delicious!

For some reason Sam's club has decided to make these imitation Chick-fil-A chicken. The pickle is an overpowering flavor both of these sandwiches and their nuggets. The sandwiches are designed to be made in the microwave which is never a good idea the chicken is like shoe leather dipped in pickle juice for hours and then you struggle to rip it apart as the overheated rubbery bun isn't your way

You should first know that the sandwich you pull from the box looks nothing like what is in the photo on the box. The sandwiches are small. Heating an oven to 425 d. and baking for 20 minutes seems like a total waste for one sandwich. However, the alternative is microwave and of course the result is going to be a soggy rather than crispy sandwich. The filet is small but overly thick and the chicken breast was tough. It gets an OK but I certainly would not buy these again.

Strong taste of Dill and Salt. That's what I DON'T like about Chick Fil-A, and both the dill and salt are even stronger in this sandwich,. Take all the bad stuff and make it stronger while leaving out the good. All I can taste in Dill and Salt. If you like that sort of thing, you may like this. However, there is far worse frozen chicken.
