I went for the extra firm because I have chronic back issues, and I've notice lately that my posture wasn't great. At first when I laid down on the mattress I was kinda taken back due to the fact that it was so taut, not much movement... I put my mattress cover over the mattress, followed by a fitted sheet. Then, I added my 2 inch memory foam mattress topper. That made a world of difference. I'm m I stay a stomach sleeper and I have to say I felt quite comfortable. When I lay on my back I can feel the curvature in my spine straightening out, and when waking in the morning I'm not as stiff or hunched as I was with my 8 year old previous mattress. I think it was a perfect choice, and looking forward to many more restful sleeps. If I were to change one thing I would have wanted strictly a firm mattress , but do believe that within a few months the mattress will soften up and I will continue to enjoy it

We put a mattress protector on and slept like babies. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a new mattress.

Not only is it just a stunning mattress without the sheets on, it provides me with the stability that I require with my back. I find that I get all of the support that my back requires. I have always loved a firm mattress but could never find one. This Beautyrest - Silver BRS900 Extra Firm it's just what the doctor ordered! I've finally gotten a good night's rest. Most other firm mattresses say firm but then have this squishy pillow top that you fall into. All be it said, this mattress has a very small amount of pillow to it. Just enough to give you cushion, without making an indent so it feels like you're now laying in a mold ready for the kiln. I won't have to worry about the sides breaking down on this bed that's always been a very troublesome spot for me. Both my husband and I being of a larger girth, we break down mattresses pretty steadily. But this mattress is going to last us a long time. If you like a firm mattress you will not regret this purchase. Beautyrest - Silver BRS900 Extra Firm goes way beyond anything you could ever buy or ever think of buying. Bravo! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I changed to Beautyrest - Silver BRS900 Extra Firm and I am so happy I did, I have been sleeping much better, I love that it is extra firm because I have back problems and the firmness helps my back and hip so much, Its also thick great looking and made of very sturdy material, the fabric is thick and soft at the same time but I use a cover to extend the life of my new mattress, my husband is also really happy and I have not heard a lot of snoring lately, we can definitely feel the difference

This mattress is indeed Extra Firm! I ordered this mattress after having (2) pillow top mattresses over the course of 13 years. I suffered a back injury and the pillow top mattress became too soft for my liking. Decided to purchase this extra firm and it’s a bit too firm for me, lol, but I’d rather my mattress be too firm rather too soft and sinking in. However, I ordered a 3 inch gel foam mattress topper and now, I’m sleeping restfully and awaken without any pain.

I have been married a long time and for the last five my husband and I slept in separate beds. Now we are able to sleep together again. This mattress doesn't creak or squeak at night. I can barely feel my husbands movement when he tosses and turns. I am amazed at the high quality of the mattress itself. It is firm yet it still contours to your body. It is easy to get in and out of bed off of the mattress. I am truly amazed at how good this mattress truly is. I will never buy any other brand. Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it so far. We’ve been searching for the perfect bed for years. We’ve been sleeping on this for almost a week and so far it is the best nights of consistent sleep and comfort that we’ve had in almost 10 years. I’ve had back problems and this seems to remedy the issues. Hopefully I can continue to say this 6 mos and a year from now. I would definitely recommend this mattress.

The delivery was so nice and easy, they text me tk schedule a date, called 30 minutes before arrival and dropped off wherever I asked. Now the mattress fit right on my queen bedframe. I sat down on it and it felt like heaven. The pillow top is so plush, but you don't sink in. I have never slept better than I have on this bed!
