It’s holds well and from what I have noticed does not leave marks on surfaces. I have not tried this on walls which are painted. Unknown if it would take paint off. Overall great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great for a permanent situation. Worked fantastic with hanging Christmas lights this year and held them all perfectly straight. I would not recommend using this tape on a surface that will show damage like Sheetrock or possibly some paint. It could pull off some paint . It has a very strong hold and it will not disappoint you in that department. I was very impressed how strong it is ! I definitely would recommend you giving this Alien stuff a try ! Lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Alien Tape recently. I needed to attach a soap holder in my shower. I followed the instructions to apply it. Clean, dry area, cut tape, press, peel and press again. Fairly simple to do, and several days later it’s still holding. I haven’t tried it on a wall since it’s not recommended for use on a painted one. I’m sure I’ll find plenty of uses for it over time. Love that it’s reusable too. Pretty neat product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before getting this Alien Tape, I tried another brand that did not work. I was so happy to come across this one. I used it to hang some canvas photos in my bathroom. It is holding up well. I cleaned the wall and picture, applied the tape, attached it to the wall, and held it for a few seconds to ensure a strong connection. Because I had a series of 3 canvases that went together to create a scene, I was afraid to try nails for fear that I would be able to level them. This Alien tape solved that problem quickly and easily. I’m going to keep using this throughout my home. It has even worked on my textured walls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the packaging for this product is somewhat misleading. It says you can hang pictures on any surface including drywall. Most people who would be using something like this would do so because they don't want to damage the walls with a hook or screw. But once you read the instructions inside it clearly says that you can only use it on painted surfaces and drywall if it's going to be a permanent installation because it will damage the painted surface or drywall. I don't know many people who hang pictures permanently. Anyway, I got this to help with a loose rubber tread on a metal step in my backyard. It doesn't say if it works on rubber but I had success. I used cleaned both surfaces and applied a generous amount of the alien tape and it has held up really well, even after snow and rain. I also used some to hold a rug in place on my tile floors. (If I had wood floors, I wouldn't have used it for fear of damaging the floor.) These are the type of applications this product is perfect for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is GREAT. I have several area rugs. The smaller ones were always moving and on the larger ones the corners turned up. I had tried a lot of different products trying to solve these problems. This tape works! It's easy to apply and you can cut it to any length. The corners lay perfectly flat now and none of the rugs move even in high traffic areas. The fact that I can reuse the tape, simply by rinsing and air drying makes it very economical. This Alien Tape is truly "out of this world".

I don’t know that I’d go as far as to say I’ll never need glue again though. Overall, it does seem to hold things in place and I found it to be easy to use. I think this would be great for someone who needs to hang or mount pictures, etc but isn’t good with or doesn’t own a drill.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this tape because I have beautiful subway tiles in my kitchen and didn’t want to drill into the tile to hang pictures. This tape works beautifully - I just cut the length I need and apply. Super easy. It didn’t leave a residue on my scissors either like a lot of tapes. I think that’s because of the inherent stickiness of the tape material, it’s not an adhesive like a lot of tapes are. I also used it to hold my AirPod case up on the side of my computer monitor. They are nicely stored and remove easily. The tape gets a little less sticky when you remove things from it constantly but it washes up and gets sticky again. Super cool! I’m writing this review under quarantine and I’m really glad I have it to do small things around the house with. I cut little tiny strips of it to hold the cables out of the way on my tv so it looks nicer, and even used some on my refrigerator to hold heavier things. Great stuff!!

It sticks well, all right, but removing it is TOUGH. Works super well on carpet. We have an area rug where the corners tend to curl up. I used this tape on it, but it damaged my LVT floors after I tried to remove it!
