[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this almost exclusively for holding area rugs down throughout the house and it is the best product so far. It sticks until you decide to remove and when you do, cleans up very easy with some mineral spirits. It also doesn't take much to do the job, a small amount in each corner works for a long period. I have used it a couple times for holding picture flat against the wall and it's perfect for that. It even held up some Christmas lights on the overhang of my porch that stays dry. Once removed and cleaned it still has a bit of hold, just not as tough as initially, but still good for projects. I'm a big fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how functional this tape is. I have used it throughout the house since I have received it and it is still holding STRONG. I was able to alien up a frame which hasn't fell and feels very secure. I have also used alien tape to hang up my cat's window bed, I do want to note that the cat's window bed suction cups did not hold well onto my window so I decided to add a strip of alien tape on each suction cup and attached each onto the window and my cat jumped onto her window bed without it falling down. She is one chunky monkey. As of today it is still holding strong!! I love how its double sided and clear. It hasn't caused any damage on my walls or windows with different products. I would recommend this product for any household. This tape goes a long way and can be trimmed to your preference. It is also easy to remove without damaging the wall. Love the name for the product as well and the packaging, alien tape indeed!! I am happy I was able to test this product out by Alien Tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Alien Tape to try out in different projects I have going around my house. I like that the package contains 3 rolls of tape, plenty for my projects. On my first project I used the Alien Tape to hold painted canvas panels on straight to my kids' bedroom wall. They were constantly bumping into them and making them crooked. The Alien Tape works great on them and now they don't budge. I had previously used a different brand tape that did not hold very well. I am so pleased that Alien Tape holds so well. It's about an inch wide and decently thick, but not too thick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical about Alien Tape and then I tried it and it works. I used it on 3 different things so far and it works great. It comes with 3 large rolls and the tape can be reused. So far a hung a floral arrangement, secured a rug and secured a recliner on the wood floor that kept moving around. Everything is still holding strong. I'm really impressed. Its very easy to work with and doesn't leave a mess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ALIEN TAPE "Multifunctional double-sided Tape" is a clear relatively thick (1/8") tape. When first applying the tape one side is sticky and the other has a backing film which allows for easier application as well as keeping the coils separated on the roll. The Alien Tape is fairly sticky but cuts easily with scissors. When applying the tape you must keep it from sticking to itself, but with the backing in place, it can be handled. Alien Tape is designed for and holds well, on smooth surfaces, and if applied as per instructions, can be removed. If the tape is applied to rough, dry wall, or painted surfaces, it should be considered permanent as removing the tape will take the paint off or damage the surface. To remove the tape holding an object to a smooth surface, like metal, glass/plastic, marble or smooth wood, you have to move or work the item back and forth and up and down till it loosens. Once you have it loose, you can remove the item, peel off the tape, rinse the tape, let it dry and then reuse it. The item is very difficult to pull off unless you do the wiggling. As such, it has good holding strength. except in shear applications. The tape comes in reusable plastic storage bags so that you have a place to store the tape should you wish to re-use it. This tape is excellent for many uses, and on many smooth surfaces, but it is not recommended for wet surfaces, wall paper, rough surfaces, stone or painted walls. It is also not recommended for wet locations or high moisture areas, although it is weather resistant and can be used outdoors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've noticed so many negative reviews for this. But the thing is, they all involve painted walls. On the box in more than one area is plainly says it's permanent on walls. So that's why the damage. I am using small strips of this for area rugs that slide because of our rambunctious dogs who thinks he needs to barrel through the house when he comes in. This tape on the underside of the corners is just enough tack to keep our large rugs in place and also makes them safer because husband uses a cane. Works great on tile also. Generous sized rolls. Will last a long time. Only try to pull off if you know you put on something that's not permanent. Like that it's clear. We haven't had any problem with the tape not holding. The weight claims we don't know yet as we haven't tried anything that heavy yet. But anxious to. Also works great to hang items off backsplash so you are not putting holes in it. Again, bearing it's NOT a painted backsplash. That is my next thing for this alien tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The tape works well. It's very sticky. But, it's good to hang up picture frames. I used it to also repair a decor drawer which was pulled off accidently. I pressed it back in for a few seconds. It attached very well. It really sticks well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for few weeks now and I must say that I really like it. I have used this on my rugs to keep them in place and for putting picture frames up on the wall. So this Alien tape is pretty impressive. It's a 2 sided tape but the texture of the actual tape if kinda like hard gooey material. It's very straight forward, easy to use. My only advice is to keep the plastic protector on the tape roll so you wont get pet hairs or lints on it because the sides of the tape roll is also very sticky. Now for using the actual tape for projects, make sure the surface is free from dust and debris. I wiped the surface real good and let it dry for a bit. Added my tape and it stuck real good. I am really happy with the outcome especially on my entryway rugs. They used to move around and the tapes I have used never really worked but this Alien tape got the job done. I highly recommend it.
