[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So the bottom plastic panel on the door of my car has been coming loose and I’ve tried to attach it with other adhesive tape and nothing has stuck. I put the alien tape on it and it has held well for about a week now, so that’s great. I did put it on my glossy paint wall in my house to stick a hook on the wall for hanging empty purses and that did not hold, so I’ll have to give it another try but I’m thinking the glossy textured surface may not work. Overall this works pretty great and I’m glad I found something to keep my door panel stuck to my car door!

At least for the project(s) I needed it for. I have bought other name brand tape which weren't as good in my opinion. *NOTE* Make sure you use this where you intend the item to be at permanently. DO NOT USE ON PAINTED WALLS!!! It WILL pull off the paint when you try to remove it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am hoping to use this for our Church Vacation Bible School to put backdrops on the classroom walls. In trying it out at home, I am a little nervous. It sticks great and holds tight but it removes paint from everything I have tried it on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the as seen on TV alien tape sticks well to most surfaces, the commercial advertisement has faults. 1: the commercial shows a security camera being placed on a brick wall. The instructions clearly indicate to use the tape only on smooth, non porous surfaces. 2: in both the commercial and the instructions included with the tape, UT indicates you can just twist the object you've stuck to, say, a wall and it will come off easily and completely. This is far from the truth. I placed a light weight 11" x 14" canvas panel art piece on the side of a metal file cabinet. I can't move it AT ALL. I will probably have to pry it off and hope I don't damage anything. I will only be using this tape on objects I don't want to remove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is very strong. It does leave a slight residue on certain materials. It should be noted that this should NOT be used on painted surfaces as it will cause them to peel. We have used on wood and metal and it works great.

I know your not supposed to, but since this tape was sticking to everything else outside, figured I'd give it a shot. It is good for light weight items for sure, just be mindful of what you're wanting to stick to what as it may damage due to its grip as water doesn't always fully release it.

I love this tape and will continue to use it for picture hanging and things around the house. It was easy to use and to press into the mirror and the wall. I am still shocked by how strong this tape is! Most certainly worth the cost.
