Best TV for those who are cutting cable

If you are cutting cable, this is the TV for you. LG is LOADED with 'free' channels and a web browser. There are many apps you can download if you are intersted..YouTube/NetFlix/SLING ...to name a few. The magic browser is OK--not as nice as my old Comcast remote, but it will do. You can also get live channels, but a TV antannae is needed (plug into the back of the TV is all you need to do). I am saving $120 per month by cutting cable.You can too!

Very happy with the picture quality, but the response time when using the remote is incredibly slow compared to our other TV’s (both Samsungs). For this reason alone I would not buy another LG TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good picture and sound quality. But disappointing menu speed. Tv lags alot in between apps and when i use setting or other menus. Also it always switches of previous app off . So if you accidentally switch on one of the quick buttons it will switch current app off and load new one. Quick app buttons are anoing if you do not have those services. One push of the button installs that app. It would be way better to have custom buttons

Painfully Slow

Whilst the picture is good the menus are painfully slow, to change the sound from TV to bluetooth ( a function the TV can't remember the next day even though the soundbar is an LG), you have to do multiple menu selections and at one point nothing seems to happen, just when you think it must have gone wrong the next screen comes up, it's a bit like going back to Windows 95.

TV Review

I decided to get a new TV after having my 55” Samsung for 7 years and had some sound issues. I wanted to try the LG as I like the magic remote and wanted to check out something bigger. The sound is okay, I’ll likely get a sound bar. But I don’t have great hearing so that’s likely a personal issue. My biggest issue with this tv is how slow the system is. It lags on just about everything. Selecting an app, the app opening, your showing downloading. In a specific instance it took over a minute just for Max app to open. Compare to my Samsung tv you’d think the new one was older. Quality of the screen is okay. I’ll keep it since I already got rid of my old tv and don’t want the hassle of returning this one. 65” is very hard to handle by myself. But I wouldn’t purchase it again.
