I purchased these tires as my OEM tires on this vehicle needed to be replaced after only 22,000 miles - disappointing. At the same time these new tires from Firestone changed the ride dramatically - much smoother and quieter so to this point I'm very satisfied. Hoping they wear well and provide good winter traction.

I do not have an exceptional amount of miles on these tires yet, but I am very satisfied with them so far. You can only do so much with a 4WD truck in regard to noise and ride, but these tires are so much better than what I had on before. They ride very smooth for being on a truck. I plan on replacing the tires on my minivan with the same tires.

My OEM tires on my Honda CR-V Hybrid needed replacement at 25k, and I researched all the tires that were recommended for my vehicle. The Destination LE3 and the "M" tires were rated virtually the same, but the LE3's were $300 less. Plus I had the Destination LE2 on my Nissan Rogue, and a friend had them on his Mazda CX7. The LE2's were fantastic, great wear, great performance, and very smooth. I felt the LE3 would be the same, if not improved. So far, I'm right.

The OEM tires (Firestone LE2) on my Ridgeline were at just below 4/32" and we were taking a 1,000 mile trip; I always change tires when the tread depth hits that measurement, so I stopped in at the Firestone company store in Dover Delaware. I am very particular about who mounts and balances tires on my vehicle, having seen the effects of improper tools and techniques. I was greeted by TJ who quickly and professionally put together a quote. I scheduled an appointment for three days from then and left. On the way back from Philly the day of the appointment there was a serious accident and a 45 minute delay. I called TJ to say I would not be able to make the appointment time and to reschedule; he asked me when I would be there and then said "we will get the tires installed,see you then!" Sure enough, I got there, dropped the truck off, went and had lunch, and then came back earlier than the 1 1/2 hours I assumed it would take--there was my truck with 4 new tires! We were able to get on our way in time! The LE3 tires are quieter than the LE2 tires they replaced, handle great in the dry and wet, and are quiet. Replaced 4 Bridgeton tires with plenty of mileage left because they provided a hard noisy ride that I could no longer tolerate. This is the 7th set of Destination tires on 5 vehicles and these are the smoothest, quietest tires out there. Also these tires are good in mud, snow and Florida concrete roadways.

I have used these tires on all of my vehicles for about 20 years. The set I replaced today was on my pickup truck since 2014, more than 10 years. I've never had a problem other than the occasional nail and Firestone's road hazard warranty has taken care of that.

I purchased 4 tires for my CR-V last year in September. Very good traction in the winter. With 8000 miles I ft rear tire last week so I put the temporary spare on. Turned out to be a tiny piece of glass close to the sidewall so the Firestone shop replaced it with a new one. 6 days later my low tire pressure light came on. I found a screw in the center of my right front tire. I had it patched but as of now I do not trust driving on these soft tires! I got the August issue of Motor Trend today and it shows a Honda Passport SUV that has Firestone Destination Tires. The right front went flat during the testing! Page 60. I live in a nice area and have never had flat tire problems. Normally have purchased Michelin and Goodyear tires

I replaced original GMC tires that had a great ride around town and on the highway. And I got 23mpg when I kept speed at 70. But If the road was older or broken the ride was terrible and noise outrageous. Because we travel, I needed to correct this. The new Firestones are quiet everywhere, but have changed our ride. We feel the road much more. Although quiet we feel any imperfections. We had our tire shop balance them at 200 miles. That helped but our overall ride around town isn't as smooth as it was. I'm wondering if I should have gotten a wider tire? The long highway drive this winter should be better.

These tires can't handle the tining (groves carved into the concrete in the direction of travel) of a large amount of Iowa roads. These groves in the road are supposed to improve drainage and provide more traction. Unfortunately, with these tires, there is too much traction. Steering is difficult and exhausting if traveling on a long stretch of highway. The car shifts all over, making an extremely uncomfortable ride. At one point, after 1.5 hours of driving, an alarm went off on my dashboard telling me I need to keep both hands on the wheel. I DID have both hands on the wheel for the entire 1.5 hours in order to keep the vehicle on the road. These are my first Firestone tires, previous tires I have owned never had this issue. I heard they might need to be "broken-in," so I have given them a chance. 5,000 miles later, there is no improvement. I have had everything else on the car that could be causing the problem checked out - alignment, suspension, etc. No issues, just the tires. I have been to the tire dealer to see if they could help me with getting different tires, like maybe some credit since the tires aren't very old - I thought Firestone would have some sort of customer satisfaction built into their warranty. The dealer said there is nothing they can do, I will have to buy new tires if I don't like them. I will definitely have to get new tires, I can't take another 50,000+ miles of this. I will NOT buy Firestone again! If you travel on tined highways, avoid these tires!
