Far exceeds my expectations! Easy to use
this mower is fantastic! Easy to assemble, and easy to use. I have a hillside that I struggled to mow with my gas self-propelled mower. That mower died, and I bought this one. Even though the grass was knee high, it worked great at slow speed. The only problem was the high grass kept knocking the removable grass shoot off. I Nowed for over thirty minutes before the battery was on 1 green light. It still self propelled over 300 feet back to my house. I am 74 yrs old and 5'3', I have never had such an easy mowing experience!!! No gas fumes, no running out of gas far from the house, no struggling to raise and lower each individual wheel! I will be buying more batteries, as I have 2 acres to mow. It is so easy to change the height of the handle, and the bars for self-propel and mow are easy to hold down. There are even pictographs on the handlebar remind me which is which! There is nothing I would change about this mower!!!!!
Simply Love It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of all the Worx products I own, this just might be my favorite. No more gas, oil, filters, spark plugs, winterizing - What's not to love. It has more than enough battery life to cut the front and back lawns.
Battery didn't last long
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older Worx mower and it was great so I thought I would try the newer Nitro and I am disappointed. A lot of money for the mower to quit within 30 minutes. After the first mow I can say I do not recommend this mower.
Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and review! It is unfortunate to hear that the WG753 Nitro 40V Self-Propelled Lawn Mower fell below your purchase standards. The runtime you receive will vary on several factors including but not limited to grass texture, lawn size, and usage of the self-propel feature. For additional runtime, we recommend purchasing additional 5.0Ah batteries located here: https://www.worx.com/20v-power-share-pro-5-0-ah-high-capacity-battery-wa3571.html Thank you for choosing WORX tools!
Uniquely customizable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect solution for my highly landscaped gardens and for someone over 65 with back and knee issues. No bending over, can adjust handle so you can walk upright. Folding the handle for storage is effortless and the 2 grab bars make lifting it much easier. The adjustment for cutting height is extremely easy and with a multiple of ranges. The adjustment for walking speed is is just as functual. As with any self-propelled mower it takes a while to adjust and get use to it. Additionally, being my first battery mower, it takes a little while to get use to the starting procedure. Remember, depress the red button first, before engaging, pulling/pushing engine/propulsion bars, in that order. The only con, as with any battery system is run time. This seems to run for 1 hour. Note the special warning of running it on very low battery. Don't run until it stops.
Just Ok at best
I like Worx products and was excited to try this mower. After using it for 6 months, I can say it has a few good features and many bad features. I would not purchase it again. The Good: Nice sturdy deck and great storage design. Wheels are nice quality as well as making height adjustments. The bagger seems to be well made, but I have never used it. The Bad: Awkard handle design with 2 opposing bails makes the self propel feature a nuisance. Everthing has to be timed perfect to release the bail before turning to be able to "free wheel" the back wheels for tight turn (think going back in forth in a fenced yard), all the while holding in the blade engage bail. It is a very cumbersome design only suited for highly coordinated people. The auto sense feature is terrible it usually speeds up after you pass through a thick clump of grass. A simple manual boost button/blade throttle would have suficied. The battery life is not great, I have a small yard (4500 ftsq) if I self propel they are near spent, I push it 99% of the time (as mentioned) and have 2 bars left of 5. The organge break down handle releases are beyond terrible and catch on numerous things in tight quarters, such as fencing, gutters, walls etc. (did any Worx designers actually even test this?) Lastly the cut is only so-so at best, It does not have the suction of gas mower and it shows in the quality of the cut. I think if they had a higher RPM motor and a bigger battery bank it could have competed. I will use this mower until it needs to be replaced but it will not be with a Worx, and I have numerous tools from them and for the most part all of them great. One other thing is the blade, it is light weight and needs to be sharpened way more than a gas unit to have any hope of acheiving a half decent cut. Lastly where is the Manual??? Come on Worxs I expected better from you on this.

Phenomenal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It carry's you along while it does all the work. I am 68 years old struggling to do my lawn with a different gas mower. I have a huge hill in the back yard. This mower worked effortlessly,. I had to put on the lower speed to keep up with it. Wish I had this years back. I would highly recommend it. If you have a large lawn area make sure you have st least four batteries or more to complete it in one day.
Nitro 40V Self-Propelled Lawn Mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mower works well. I upgraded the battery and can now cut the lawn twice on one charge. I would suggest upgrading the battery to an 8 amp when there is a sale. I have two other Worx Mowers and purchased this one which has more features including an LED light to see when the Sun goes down. All have been excellent. The battery sizes have gotten smaller with the new models.
disappointing
Just started my second season with this lawnmower. I have mowed my lawn 4 times this spring and the batteries have not lasted long enough to cut both back and front lawns. They are not big area. One is 30 feet by 30 feet and the other is 30 by 40. My blade was sharpened and it still did not make a difference.I would not recommend this mower.

Runtimes can vary depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to grass texture and consistency, cutting height, and lawn size. No first start of the Season Blues
This mower has a lot of features which make mowing easy. The best one is the pushing of a button to have this mower start. As the title of this review says, you don't wear out your arm muscles trying to start a mower after it has set all winter long. Another nice feature is the ability to adjust the mower height of all four wheels with just one hand. This mower also did good with higher grass. The first mow of the season, my grass was about two and a half to three inches tall with weeds and did not bog down at all. I did have to recharge the batteries about 2/3 of the way through. The following week, when I mowed, the grass was normal height for mowing and I didn't have to recharge at all. I actually had about a third of a charge left. The one surprising thing I didn't realize before I bought it was that it folds up like a hand dolly. This makes it easy to clean and to store. Definitely worth the price just for the ease of use and really no maintenance.
THIS MOWER IS HIGHLY MANUVERABLE
Arrived fully assembled in the shipping box, which was slightly damaged. It was packed well and had no damaged. Charged batteries and began mowing. Very impressed with how well it handled the tall grass, and how nice it cut. It is light enough to push without using the self-propelled feature, but engaging it makes mowing effortless. About 50-60 minutes per charge on the 5 amp batteries. I initially intended to purchase the 14 inch model, but I am so glad I went for the self-propelled one. I would recommend this model to anyone to anyone considering an electric lawnmower. A small consideration for WORX would be to engineer and on-board storage for the side discharge chute.
