Even better than expected!
I like this one with four batteries. I really liked the features described on this model and took the chance. I couldn't be happier. The mower is quiet, maneuvers well, cuts grass of varying heights beautifully, and the batteries hold up. I will recommend this company to anyone, Overall I'm very happy with this purchase.
Hesitant - but now convinced!
I was a little worried a battery operated lawn mower wouldn't have enough power to cut through my thick grass. After using the 40v Nitro Cordless several times now, I can attest it rips through the grass as easy as my former stinky, loud and heavy lawn mower. 40v has been more than enough battery power to finish my small yard. The unit is so light I've been pushing it instead of relying on the self-propelled feature - which works fine, by the way. Finally, the fold up and store feature has been a big win for me and my already cramped garage.
Simply Love It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of all the Worx products I own, this just might be my favorite. No more gas, oil, filters, spark plugs, winterizing - What's not to love. It has more than enough battery life to cut the front and back lawns.
Uniquely customizable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect solution for my highly landscaped gardens and for someone over 65 with back and knee issues. No bending over, can adjust handle so you can walk upright. Folding the handle for storage is effortless and the 2 grab bars make lifting it much easier. The adjustment for cutting height is extremely easy and with a multiple of ranges. The adjustment for walking speed is is just as functual. As with any self-propelled mower it takes a while to adjust and get use to it. Additionally, being my first battery mower, it takes a little while to get use to the starting procedure. Remember, depress the red button first, before engaging, pulling/pushing engine/propulsion bars, in that order. The only con, as with any battery system is run time. This seems to run for 1 hour. Note the special warning of running it on very low battery. Don't run until it stops.
Lawn Mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently retired and my other lawnmower was getting old and I was tired of dealing with the gas and the oil so one day I ordered the lawnmower and it was the best purchase I made. You can clean underneath of it very easy and it's great that the top comes off and you can charge all four Batteries at once. At first I didn't think I would be able to cut the grass in one charge But I can it's a great lawnmower
No more gas mower!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this mower for a week now and can't get over how much it's changed the way I mow. To start off, the ease of this mower is unmatched when it comes to changing settings and storing it. Using simple levers you can collapse this mower and store it on its side (unlike a gas mower) and take up less space in your garage. The three speeds help you match the speed that matches your pace and the self-propelled function feels like you're not using any energy at all. The four 20v batteries get charged over night and are ready to go the next morning. I have been able to mow my 1/2 acre of land without it dying. The mower comes with a bag to catch any clippings but can switch to the side discharge very easily with the pull of a lever. Overall, this mower has just as much power as my gas mower did and cuts out the hassle of having to buy gas every few mows. I love this product!
Mower Seems Better - Batteries Seem Worse
Just got the mower so I cannot speak to its life yet. Have only gotten to use this mower once on my lawn so far. Has a slightly wider cut. It appears to be sturdier than my previous 56v Worx mower. Arrived in good condition. Took a little assembly. Directions are inadequate with no explanations at all, simply generic images. Fully charged the two new 40v batteries and mowed full yard. Had very little power left in the batteries when done. Very little use of the self-propelled feature. Did experience the mower changing motor speed automatically in high/low grass areas. The 56v mover would mow the same less than 1/4 acre yard three times on one charge when new, and two now as batteries have 4 years of use. The new 40v will definitely do the same yard only once, which is one third of what the 56v did when they were new. I'd say batteries will be inadequate to mow even once within less than a year. Very worried. Batteries appears to be under powered. Will be very disruptive to have to stop and wait to charge the batteries to finish the yard. If they are going to downgrade batteries, and charge more for them, they should furnish four batteries with the mower so you can have them charged to switch and finish the job. Disappointed pay more and get less. Much easier to adjust mowing height is best new feature. Like bigger diameter rear wheels.

Awesome
So easy, cuts better then much heavy old gas mower that was miserable to push even with self propelled. I'm older and needed light and easy. This is perfect and since our yard is terraced with hills the self propelled works great. I've used multiple worx products and never had a problem . I will continue to buy their products. Top notch.
Brilliant Machine
I bought this unit about a month ago, and have used it a out 5 time so far and I have to say that this machine is a beast, it has amazing power to cut thru thick grass and and pretty long run time. In my out unit which was snapper XD, I went through 4 batteries charging sessions to get my entire yard cut but the worx unit goes thru it in a single charge with plenty left over. Very happy with the purchase so far.
Overall A Decent Mower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my gas mower and because I already had two Worx tools and batteries. Opening it up, the box looked a little beat up. Locking the handle, one side is a little difficult to get to lock, it's the same side the box was beat up on so it could be due to the shipping and not manufacturing. Easy to get ready to use. I have a good sized yard and mostly flat. On my first use, I started with side discharge, a higher cut, power up higher and using self propelled a lot. Got maybe a third of it done before batteries were "drained". Used the two batteries from my jaw saw and string trimmer next, not as powerful as the batteries that come with the mower. But I set the mower at the lowest power and only used self propelled when really needed. Got almost a third of the yard done that way. Finished with the recharged mower batteries, this time low power, self propelled only when really needed. Finished the yard and used those batteries with the jaw saw to cut some branches and use the string trimmer to finish the yard. If I had a bigger yard and needed to use the self propelled a lot, I don't know if I would recommend it. For me, now knowing it's limits, it's good. I invested in another set of batteries (same size as what came with the mower) so I can mow the whole yard pretty much without having to wait for recharges. As far as cutting, it does a very nice job. Very quiet compared to my old gas self propelled mower. Like that it stores standing up. Feels sturdy yet not too heavy.
