A big hit!

I couldn't decide between vanilla or chocolate, so I went with the swirl. It was a huge hit with the kids and parents at my son's party. I was worried about the moisture level for the cake, since it was a single layer (the "other guys" do double layer with a ganache layer), but I was not disappointed. The cake was super moist, and the frosting was not sicky-sweet. And the dinosaur theme was pretty cool, too.

Disappointed with Decoration

First I want to say the cake was delicious. However I am upset by the fact that I did not get the cake decorated as agreed to and got no discount or anything but a “Oh well, sorry, can’t do anything for you”. I originally tried to order a cake with dinosaur decorations that I had purchased and just wanted a cake decorated with an appropriate background. I was told Sam’s could not do this and my only option was to get their Jurassic Park cake so I agreed. This was ordered on Monday to pick up at 11:00 on Saturday. At 10:15 on Saturday I received a call stating the decoration did not come in and all they could provide was cake with border and a pre-printed sheet with Dino footprints. I was forced to use Sam’s decorations for my cake then advised 45 minutes prior to picking it up that the decoration did not come in the prior day and there was nothing they could do about it. Had I been advised of this on Friday when it did not come in I would have had time to make other arrangements but with only 45 minutes notice I had no option but to stick with an undecorated cake

Cake tasted horrible, film topper made it taste like you were eating a piece of a bandaid. Ordered a marble cake that was very disappointing, the ratio of chocolate to vanilla was minimal and the flavor was subpar. Lastly, the cake design was not like the picture itself,it looked like someone put their own twist to what they felt it should look like.

I hadn’t had the cake from Sam’s taste has changed a lot used to taste like a real bakery. It just was not good. The last I bought was exactly the same as the one I bought this time they don’t even put the decorations on top anymore like they used to I was surprised at the cost that went down, but unfortunately, so did the quality

Horrible Service/ OK Cake

Icing was tasty, but the cake was dry. Cute dino cake design; however, the execution was sloppy. I could literally see the 2 sheets that were put together to create the design, as they were neither smooth nor cohesive. Looked like 2 crumbled pieces of paper. Order was placed a week in advance, but was not ready for pick up on time. Pick up window was 11 - 12 PM. Order was not ready until 1:30 PM. I had to call twice, because the app was never updated to show the order was ready. First call I was told the cake was being worked on and the app status would update once it's done. This was already past noon. Called again 30 mins later when there was no update, and was told the order had been ready. No it hadn't! But OK. Ordered cupcakes as well; those were pretty good.

Cake was sent to the wrong bakery

One of the bakery workers helped me input in the cake order and upon picking up the cake we found that it was sent/ordered to a different location. They just said you can go and pick it up at the other location on the day of the party. And they said I could get a refund from the other location as well. Haven’t seen the refund yet!!

Wrong type of icing on Birthday cake

I ordered whipped icing and received buttercream instead. The icing was so sweet no one was able to eat it. Most of the cake went into the trash. It was for my grandchilds 2nd birthday. If I purchase any other cake I will make sure the type of icing on there is correct.
