- 5 out of 5 stars review9/1/2023Replaced my stock 245/60r/18s with an oversized 265/60r/18s, added over a half inch in height and gave it a more aggressive look. Grips excellent in rainy conditions, could not tell it was wet outside. Best bang for your buck and good looking, not as aggressive as a Falken but it does the same job for less. Will buy again every time.

NehemiahOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/9/2022I drive 60,000KMs a year and have went through various A/T all-weather tires in the past. Driving in Saskatchewan, primarily on gravel roads (winter conditions for about 6 months of the year) I need a good all round, reliable tire. Very happy with the traction and most impressed with the road noise being so much quieter than other brands with comparable traction.
Finally found a good tire
DarrenOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/23/2023Ive had these 275/60R20 Firestone Destination A/T2's for a couple weeks now. Have had heavy rain and tonight visiting family and they wanted to do some night off road. Man these things are FANTASTIC. QUIET, smooth, gained a couple mph on the 2hr trip. Great rain performance and much better than my prior 33x12.5 more expensive and aggressive tires from another brand. Tonight these things performed admirably off road with just a little more sink into very soft deep sand and some mud. They are noticeably narrower so I expected this. Even did a couple steep grades to upper trails and had zero slippage. Even stopping to get out on one grade to scout over the crest, it just picked right up and had no issue continuing. I'm impressed and have confi...
My Forever AT Tire Now!!
DavidOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/1/2022I started using the Firestone Destination A/T2 about four years ago (maybe more) and have never used anything else since. I live in Central New York and commute daily on country roads, which don't get immediate snow plow attention, or have the best drainage in rain and these tires have never let me down. I get a comfortable ride with no hydroplaning, no slipping, and a grip that has kept me from a roadside ditch. As a driver that doesn't have phone reception for 100% of the commute, knowing I can trust my tires provides comfort to myself and family. Highly recommend.
Trustworthy Tires
RuthOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/24/2023Just replaced the original Destination AT tires that lasted over 62,000 miles. I was hesitant on the AT/2 but thus far I am very happy with the ride and performance of these tires. Nice quiet ride as well. Not the cheapest tire on the market but you get what you pay for and so far these tires have met and exceeded my expectations.
Destination AT/2 Replacing Destination AT
JohnOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/7/2022We bought these tires in 2019 right after our new (to us) truck ended up in a ditch on a rainy night because the brand new tires placed on truck by the dealership were just junk. We knew that we didn't want to skimp on tires because with my job we're driving across the country in a wide variety climates. They have always done amazingly well in ice, snow, and insane amounts of rain. Three years later and my truck is still able to make quick stops and doesn't drift even a bit in high water. We've put almost 80k miles on them so we'll be replacing them this month just for safety but the current ones, even with lower tread, are still preforming worlds better then the original tires. We will be buying these exact tires again.
Love them!
AshleyOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/13/2024While these tires have a 55k warranty I got a little over 60K out of them. I travel for work and but a TON of miles on yearly. For instance on a 2021, I have 114k on it already. Tires last long and have great traction in wet, winter, and muddy conditions. I am mostly a highway driver, but also drive often on dirt roads and grass in my personal life. I can't recommend these enough.
Long Tire Life & Great in Wet& Winter Weather
Jason R. LehmanOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review7/4/2024I just had a new set of Firestone Destination AT/2 size 275/65/18 installed on my 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor & they are true to form a fantastic tire. Traded in the OEM tires General Grabber's & now the truck handles so much better both on & off road. I've put Firestone Tires on all my vehicles for many decades because they are simply the best performing tires.
Great Tires
MikeOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 4 out of 5 stars review11/25/2024My jeep came factory with the Destination A/T's and I was very happy with them for my style of driving, also the fact they lasted me 91,000 miles before I replaced them with the A/T 2's. Looking forward to testing the snow rating on these tires that the other set did not have. So far I'm 1,500 miles in on this set, and I feel confident in the dry and wet traction, also handling is also satisfactory. Now I'm just waiting for some serious snow to fully test them out.
A good thing version 2
TroyOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review6/25/2023I am the second owner of my 2020 Jeep Wrangler Sport. Luckily, the first owner took care of the vehicle and seemed to be really gentle on it. As such the tires that came stock were basic Michelin tires. They drove fine but once I got to the 30k mileage they noticeably declined in sound and stability and traction. So, on the hunt for a solid tire that can accommodate my daily interstate driving while also providing great traction, improved mileage and comfortable ride-- I came across the Firestone Destination A/T2 245/75R17 112S package and seeing the reviews, I went ahead and scheduled the install. Oh, man. It's like driving a new vehicle with these new tires. The ride is so much smoother and the overall feel of the Jeep Wrangler feels much...
Inaugural Placement, a totally new drive
Brittney B.Originally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/17/2023In all fairness, this review is based off of the performance of the Destination AT. When I got my Jeep back in 2021, it already had the Destination AT tires on it & I've was very happy w/ how they performed in regards to ride, handling, & stopping power in wet conditions. They rode smooth, the noise level wasn't terrible but I've never really cared much about that-you're going to have noise while driving after all. Handling & grip was good, they never felt like they were trying to come out from under me during a turn. The stopping power during wet conditions I especially liked, mainly during winter. That's why when I was told I needed new tires I decided to stay w/ the same style as what I had & was informed that they were now Destination A...
Is the newer model worth it? Seems promising
Brian BauerOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/25/2023Got these P255/65R17 80,000 miles ago, truth, 80,000 miles. Perfect fit for the TH (Trail Hawk), get 27 mpg on lower-end inflation, for 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trail Hawk v6, Arizona, all conditions on and off road, over 100 degrees in Tucson to snow in White Mountains. Has been as perfect as perfect gets, but now Firestone dealer tells me it is not made but it could be the website is STILL incorrect?
Perfect Tire - No Longer Being Made?
EllsworthOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/6/2024I have well over 220,000 miles on my truck now and this is my third set of Firestone Destination AT2 tires. I like them mostly for quiet ride yet have traction for rain ice or snow. Most of my miles are highway miles but I do get off-road every now and then in farm fields and the boat ramp too. I get around 20 mph fully loaded with these tires on vacation trips. I usually get around 60,000 miles on tread wear before I replace and do not run them smooth. All in all I'm very satisfied with their quiet ride and performance for what I do.
Satisfied Customer
JeffOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/4/2024I have never had a set of tires like these! I had 70K miles on them and had it not been for winter right around the corner, I know they would have made it another 5K +! My Jeep came from the factory with these tires, so why look for better? I don't think it exists!
Never before
BillOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/12/2022I have never had such an aggressive tread pattern on my truck and at 225K miles, I have had my share fair of tires on the truck. I have had Destination LE and Bridgestone Dualers, but they were more of highway tires. I have to say that these tires stick to the road on dry and wet pavement. I haven't had snow or ice as of yet, but I'm sure they will do just as good. These are a very nice tire at a decent price. I would purchase again.
Great Tire
JoeOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/29/2023I purchased these tires to replace a set of Michelin all terrains. I prefer the Firestone Destination over the Michelins . They cost less, have a smoother ride, and are quieter but they get fewer miles.
Smooth ride
GdogOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 4 out of 5 stars review7/21/2024Decided to replace LE3 tires with 48,000 mi.on them.Went with the AT 2 tires, seems to handle much better.Time will tell when winter arrives on how they perform.Dale was very helpful on my decision to switch from LE3's.
New tire purchase
Anthony RiccobonoOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review9/13/2024I have had my tires on for a few months now and have driven in heavy rain and flooding and they were great. They are also much quieter on the road than expected.
Firestone at/2
RobertOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/11/2022Just switched from Goodyear(factory) which got us about 55,000 miles. Firestone tires are smooth and quiet. So far so good, hoping we can get 55,000 out of them as well.
