Ok, I LOVE to cook and have heard about this sauce that's supposed to be "God's gift to man".......Rao's! I got a 2 pack and today was THE DAY! So, my husband opened the jar, spoon at the ready and taste buds all fired up and I am giddy with joy and anticipation! SLOW MOTION HERE: Spoon enters jar, dopey grin on my face and I take my first taste of what I have been assured should be heaven on a spoon. (pause for reaction) Shock is the only word and I was so shocked I had to try it again......then I called hubby over and I was happy to say he had the same reaction I did.......as is: REALLY? What is so special about this? One word: BLAND, TASTELESS and WATERY. I had to add more Italian spice, onion and garlic and it helped........bottom line, I won't ever purchase again as there are cheaper and way better sauces out there. I was so glad to see other 1 star reviews because I know it's not just me. Overpriced Ragu......seriously. OVERPRICED.......very.

I would give it 5 stars if they would ship it like it says it will do in the ad.

The taste is not bad, but it was way too oily for my liking.

My first time trying Rao sauce. A very balance taste. Cost more but worth it.

Why bother buying any other brand.

This sauce is so tasty right out the bottle! No doctoring needed ... goes great with cheese sticks. The marinara is sweet and full of flavor!
