- 5 out of 5 stars review12/6/2024I have two sets of the Destination X/T tires. One on a single cab Tacoma and one set on a Chevy Silverado 2500. Overall great tires. I wish they were available in a standard ply for smaller truck. They do ride stiff on my Tacoma. I do notice a bit more road noise on my heavier truck. Better off pavement traction than the destination AT tires I've used in the past.
X/T good so far!
KentOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/20/2022I have a 2021 F150 that I put a level kit on. Upsized my Tires to a 285/65R20. Grabbed a set of these Firestone XT's from a local dealer to make my truck look a little more aggressive. They did not disappoint. They are super smooth, literally zero vibration. Has a little road noise which is to be expected with this type tread, but honestly it isn't bad at all. I love these! I'd put these over BFG K02's or General ATX's any day. A little expensive but well worth the quality of the tire.
These Are Awesome!
TylerOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/30/2021Just wanted to say Firestone crew did an awesome job In a short time frame. While waiting for my vehicle they had some upset customers that don't understand the process of how the work is done. But the staff handled it great and that make me want to come back for future purchases. Monique,Justin and Brain did an outstanding job.You have a great group of employees out in shop as well.GREAT JOB GUYS...
Destination X/T
Hector GarciaOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/28/2023I first tried these tires (285/60/20 on Fuel Wheels) on my 2020 Ram 2500 Diesel because of the price point and liked that the sipping when all the way through the tread block. This is very important as most tires do not and after 15,000 miles are so you have lost your good rain traction. I ran those tires in the rain and snow plus off road when hunting and never let me down. Having tires that perform like the day you bought them through the life of the tire is amazing. The sipping goes all the way down to the wear indicators plus these tires are 3 peak rated so they don't freeze and get hard in winter causing a lose of traction. I put almost 50,000 miles on the tires in a truck that weighs almost 8,000 pounds loaded. I have since bought the...
Destination X/T
Jeffrey V RangeOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/28/2023The Destination XT tires seem to have a entirely different but satisfying feel as far as traction and ride go. They do great in the rain. I haven't encountered snow or ice yet but I'm sure they will do great. My only wish is that all sizes were available with with white wall lettering. I was alittle disappointed once I realized there were no white letters on the size I purchased.
Great tires so far
ThomasOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 3 out of 5 stars review3/4/2024Having grown up in the tire business, I've been around Firestone along time. This new cross-terrain tire really intrigued me by it's tread design and mileage warranty. I bought LT275/70R18s and they have been a great ride with great performance off-road and on-road. The tires are not noisy as you might think from their design. The tires have a great ride and have great traction off road, in the snow, and great wet traction with great braking. The only problem I have with them is I didn't get the mileage out of them. I'm replacing them just shy of 30K. I rotated about every 5K and have maintained my pressures with towing and not towing. I would buy this tire again!
Great All Conditions Tire!
Russ StenquistOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 2 out of 5 stars review11/11/2023Ad states "Kick up some dirt with the Firestone Destination X/T on- and off -road tires...you can depend on these tires to take you anywhere because tough terrains require an even tougher tire." Do let that fool you. The first time I took these tires off road, I had some minor chunking. The people I was with (all experienced off roaders) noted how my new tires were chunking in the Arizona sand. The next time I took them off road, they chunked a little more. This last trip, I was the only one to suffer any tire damage out of the three of us and was the only one running Firestone's. I had a front sidewall chunk that was almost to the plies and a pinhole in the sidewall that required a plug. Yes, you shouldn't plug a sidewall, but I had no cho...
Good highway tire. TERRIBLE off road tire.

My previous tire brand was terrible, I had to get 2 sets as the first set dry rotted prematurely after a few months. I opted for the Destination X/T because they were highly top rated on every reputable source, I have loved these tires since having them installed. They perform exceptionally in the rain (to include tropical storm/hurricane conditions). If you're looking for a tire that will perform at the time you need them the most, this YOUR tire
Great truck tires
Jay Keely GillespieOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 1 out of 5 stars review7/16/2024Bought these tires less than a year ago. And they are falling apart. Huge chunks of the tread ripping apart and just random cuts through the tread blocks. I've had lots of truck tires. Figured I'd give these a shot and regret buying them should of stuck with the cooper's. Drive 12000 miles on these and half that was towing a camper across the country and for them to be falling apart and two leaking air through the tears is just not acceptable. Firestone won't do anything since they said it's roadhazard problem. Road hazard said it's a manufacturing problem so guess I'll deal with it on my own. Wouldn't recommend them for that fact. If they fixed it from tearing apart they are decent tires.

Use this vehicle to pull our 5th wheel trailer (about 13,000 pounds) and our boat (about 1,500 pounds). Use the truck for on-road and off-road travel. 40,000 miles on tires, of that 12,500 were pulling our 5th wheel. Rotate about every 5,000 miles, have had the tires rebalanced twice and the front end realigned once since bought the tires. At 40,000 I am replacing them, 3/32 of tread on two tires and 5/32 on other two, likely due to the more worn tires being on rear when pulling trailer more often. Live in a mountain valley at high elevation so 3-Peak rating was important at initial purchase. Tires have worn evenly. While not as quite as a highway tire, for an "aggressive" all terr...
Consider this tire
BobOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/4/2023I Switched to the Firestone Destination XT tires and have been well pleased. They have a quite comfortable ride for a tire with this much traction in wet muddy conditions . I am looking forward to a good snow so I can see how they preform in winter conditions. I feel I have made an excellent choice by selecting Firestone tires.
DESTINATION X/T
JamesOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/28/2021Purchased Destination X/Ts to replace the original Goodyear Wranglers. The difference in road performance between the two is night and day. Regardless of weather conditions, and in Wisconsin that means rain, sleet, snow, and ice, the XTs perform flawlessly. They really grab the road when Mother Nature decides it's time for weather! They have a touch more road noise than the AT/2s we have on our other vehicle, but they are actually a low noise tire. Lastly, the XTs have somewhat of an aggressive look to them, but not over-the-top. They actually look really cool! So happy with my X/Ts and highly recommend them!!!!
DESTINATION X/T = Amazing Tire!!!
TonyOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 1 out of 5 stars review8/20/2024After I drove 15k on these tires, they were completely worn out, I didn't even expect that this could happen, yes, sometimes they helped on off-road, yes, they could dig out, but 15k and completely naked, THIS IS SOME KIND OF HORROR, I don't recommend it
terrible tires

I decided to try them. I really enjoy the awesome winter driving capabilities and how quiet they are through the entire life of the tread. Even with heavy oilfield use. The only time I've had a flat is from a nail. Great durability when you are drive the gravel roads doing Mach Jesus with a truck full of heavy equipment. I'm definitely going to put them on my two personal trucks when it comes time.
On my 3rd set
LucasOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/29/2024Never bought "good" tires before buying a set of the Destination X/Ts. Always bought Light truck driving tires, or maybe all-terrain. The traction during the winter with those was not good, had to put sandbags in the back. These Destination tires have great traction in the snow and ice so I no longer need weight in the back. This is my second set and I would recommend them to anyone. They are noisier than highway driving tires and am not sure if they are noisier than any other all-terrain tire.
Nice Tires. Great for winter driving.
Randall TeplerOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 3 out of 5 stars review11/7/2022Tires look great, but are expensive. 285/60/20 XT are very durable but quite noisy on the road. Also from Street Tires to A/T's, when on the highway you can feel a lot of the Rumble. If you don't need AT's, this brand with street threads are probably the smoothest most durable choice
Destination XT
FrankOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review12/2/2023I have driven over 1,000 miles on them and am very pleased so far.Mostly gravel roads and prarie trails with some highway. They are holding up nicely to the gravel. Have not done any snow driving yet as it's been dry here, I think they will do just fine.
Good Tires
RayOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/26/2024As an employee I did some research before purchase and I am very surprised by the result I found online these tires are superior to a lot of competitors in different factors a tire has to face head on as an A/T. These tires are magnificent, smooth, quite, and take on any terrain that's in the way!
X/T FOR THE WIN
FranciscoOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/26/2023Had the tire in my durango for about 2 years now still have plenty of tread life. Couldn't be happier with my purchase they been thought all the weather and performed perfect in all conditions with proper care of tires and vehicle these tire will go farther then 50k miles when these either wear out or dry rot I will be buying another set of 5 from my suv
Great tires
PatrikOriginally posted onfirestone.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/21/2023this if my second set of the XT tires, I am very happy with the traction I get off road and in the deep snow of the Midwest winters. I get a fairly quiet ride on drive payment and great traction on dry and wet roads alike. Tire has just enough flex to hold traction like the tires are glued to the road in dry weather but stiff enough to have long wear life. If these tires do not outlast the truck I will be buying another set. I put several hundred miles on my truck in a year, the last set I had lasted me for over 3 years and the front tires when I changed them still had a great deal of tread left on them to the point that I kept them for spare and replacement purposes. Deep tread gives excellent traction in snow and great water channeling in...
