These utility shelves are perfect for the job I needed them for. First, let me start my review by letting you know that I did not purchase these to used for shoes. I purchase three of them. They are actually in my kitchen. I have an industrial size cabinet that I turned into storage for my kitchen to house my pots and pans, etc. neatly and organized. I'll try to include a picture. The shelves are very structurally sound. I think they are a bit jazzier than traditional shoe racks or shelves. That brushed silver look is very fresh. The the real reason that I went ahead and did this review is to remind us that we can use our purchases for whatever we need them for. I hope that this works for your shoes if that's what you want, but for me it worked perfect for my cabinet. It's sturdy enough for my job. I don't like to tell others that'll be great for them because I don't know what they'll be using it for. If you think you'll like them, try them. I actually didn't use these for shoes at all... I'm not a shoe lady. :) We do have several closet shelves with lots of wasted space though, so I used them to better organize our closets and get stuff off the floor. Easy to assemble, cheap, and strong!

I purchased 3 of these shoe racks looking to create countertop shelves because my kitchen has ridiculously limited pantry space, but everything was too big and bulky. These guys? PERFECT. They could not have been easier to put together (no tools needed), the frame is really sturdy, and the price? Wow. I'm trying to figure out where else in my home I can incorporate rate them.

I was very excited to receive the shoes racks. One was fine, but the other had a hole in the mesh metal. I tried to call the number that came with the product to ask for another rack. The number has been disconnected. The hole was not large, and I do not want to return it because 3 WalMart stores I checked did not have the item in stock, and even though the shipping was fast, I have already been waiting.

Not only can it be used for shoes but I use my shelves for storage of clothes. Perfect for such. Excellent product!!

Good quality. Easy to put together. Keeps shoes organized as opposed to the usual pile at the door. Of course, it will take some training for the family to actually put the shoes on the rack, but well get there.

I used this for holding dishes in my cabinet. Its really strong and sturdy so I'm confident nothing will fall. Great purchase! They also stack together if you want to order more.

The rack is metal. It is definitely a modern look, but is is sturdy. You do not need tools to assemble and if you want more levels/tiers, it is easy to add another one.

Nice price, I like that they're metal, but I can only get two pairs of boots on the shelf. I have a long closet so I put 3 side-by-side. It'd be 5 stars if they were just 3-4 inches wider.

I really like that the shoes do not have to balance on thin rods like some shoe racks but there are still holes that dirt and crumbs can fall through.
