This set was exactly what I had been wanting! It had a lot of pieces and took awhile for me to complete but I prefer that over finishing one in like an hour. I really love the use of so many different pieces! The piece the "You are here" points to is glow in the dark! That was a surprise. I also found an alien piece they snuck in which was so cute! They also used random pieces like hairbrushes, forks, cherries, and whisks. I love all the different pieces adding such dimension to the set. They also made sure to give you plenty of extra of the smaller pieces that might be easily lost.

This year, facing what most likely will be yet another record climate breaker, I just couldn’t face engaging my traditional hobby of wool knitting. A friend introduced me to LEGO and I am excited for my first complex build and await the century mark to put away the wool and breakout my new LEGO project!

it is the most amazing set when finished - although it doesn't build into a car, castle, starship etc you can play with, as an adult I will get much more enjoyment out of the output than anything else. It is a beautiful art on the wall and I can't stop looking at it. And the diverse range of pieces made the building very fun - brush, cherry, carrot, jewel, flower, binoculars.... the last step to put the sign of "you are here" in place made me in awe of the universe. The build takes a little attention to details but is totally worth it!

I got this as a gift. It's an awesome build. The little easter egg of an alien is fun. It does look intense with everything a 1×1 but seeing the final result is amazing. My only problem is I'm not sure were to hang it were my cat and kid can't get it. If you love LEGOS and art this is a great purchase. It took me by myself about 20 hours to complete,

Love this set. What I loved most was the inclusion of certain pieces representing astronomical bodies like Trappist, Pleiades, Pillars of Creations, and Crab Nebula. However, missed opportunity to include something that represented Sagittarius. I ended up modifying it myself using a translucent-orange parabolic piece with a black flat-rounded 1x1 stud to represent the supermassive black hole with an accretion disk. But the set was fun to build. A lot of pieces and very intriguing placement for certain pieces. Love all the different pieces. An orange frog?? Why not!

This was a very interesting build, indeed. I may not agree with the color scheme of it all but once complete, it's an inspiring rendition of our Milky Way galaxy. My favorite parts are the Gaia telescope and You Are Here markers, and the price (especially on sale) per piece count is pretty unbeatable. I highly recommend for the space enthusiast.

I had the intentions of building this for myself but why not share the fun with your closest friends! This was a prefect set for a Friday night with friends! We each got a panel to work on and it was a fantastic build! 10/10 recommended! Keep making group build sets!!

I got the set on back order and it came in over 30 days earlier than expected. The build was fun with all the little satellites and probes. It goes so nicely in my room the coolers are fun but the building kinda hurt but I also built it in less than 24 hours so that's probably why. I'll also say it is bigger than you'd expect and price to peice ratio is good love this set.

I didn’t pay (close) enough attention to the specs/ dimensions of this item. I incorrectly assumed it was going to be similarly sized as Lego World Map (#31203) at 26”x41”. It is NOT. It is much smaller. Very disappointing discovery. Please check the size before ordering the Galaxy which is smaller than the retired World Map (makes sense, right? NO!) #FAIL

I love that it is pre-separated into 5 segments so our family of 5 can create separately and collaboratively, and it is a set where if a child happens to get a piece out of place or accidentally skip a step, it doesn't really matter. Lots of fun surprises in the small pieces.
