This is a great Lego set for people who love all things regarding the universe. What first attracted me to this set was the colors with the blues, pinks, oranges, purples, and creams, it really captures your attention. I like how different and random Lego pieces were used to form the Milky Way Galaxy. The instructions and labeled Lego bags were nicely labeled and easy to follow. I would recommend!

Be ready for the small parts. The unique use of different shapes and colors to create the Milky Way is fun and interesting. Only small drawback is the 3D building app does not currently work for this set. Fails to load. Works for other available sets. I also tried a different device/OS and still froze the builder app. So back to the paper instructions. Overall 4.8 out of 5. (-.2 for the failed 3D builder. )

As a long-time lego lover this piece was worth the price! It's a beautiful addition to my collection and was so relaxing to build. I loved that I could divide the project into small parts and do one section at a time without opening all of the bags. I saved the frame for last. I think I'm in love! ❤️

I had never built a lego set, but I do many hobbies and the beautiful colours of Milky Way caught my attention. After about the 4th panel (of 15) I was bored. All you do is dump out the contents of a numbered bag and follow the instruction pictures on where to put the pieces; I was expecting more of a sense of creativity. I am very pleased with the product but, for me, the building process left me with ennui.

I was a little worried this would be a somewhat monotonous build, but it was actually super fun! There are so many intricate little details that are fun to see pop up as you go through each bag, including a frog. The coral and seafoam colors especially stand out. I hope Lego continues these types of space art concepts. Would love to see Jupiter and its moons with the Juno probe orbiting around it, Saturn with its rings, moons, and the Cassini probe. Maybe even work in the Voyager probe into one of those and a single blue pixel to represent the famous pale blue dot photo. One thing to note, it does weigh a decent amount once put together, so for those with apartments who can't use screws and anchors, you might need to get a little creative to hang it securely.

This was truly a lot of fun to put together. I liked that it came in multiple books so we could do it with friends. Each person could do a set of panels and it was fun to watch as it came together, even though my fingertips were a little sore at the very end. Pushing all those small pieces on was definitely the most tedious part. but it is truly beautiful, I cannot wait to hang it!!

This one has been on my wishlist for a while now and I’m so happy I finally went ahead and purchased it. Not only is the build so much fun and sectioned off in a way that makes it not overwhelming. But the Lego exclusive podcast that discusses our galaxy and the various standouts as you are building them was the cherry on the cake. I’ve always been into learning about space and it made the build experience that much more fun. Way to go Lego. I hope the theme continues and maybe we can get art builds of like the Pillars of Creation or Crab Nebula! I would buy those up so fast, you have no idea.

Great build that for the amount of pieces it didn't take super long to build! You'll definitely feel accomplished afterwards! Standout set for sure. My only gripe is that I wish Lego would have included a "Milky Way Galaxy" name plate for this set! 🙃🙃🙃

This set looks fantastic. After the frame you get started on the individual plates and realize that everything is single to double studded pieces lol. Obviously, this is what gives the Milky Way its texture, depth, and color range but definitely one where you need to take a break. The repurposing of random pieces is genius and makes the set fun to put together. After finishing you realize exactly what you’ve built and how great it looks. I would recommend

Really enjoyed putting this together and listening to the space audio while building.
