While this may seem like a boring build to some, it was actually a fun build. It was interesting to see all the different pieces they used to make have texture that pops out. They could have done this with the flat round pieces used for the Beatles art piece, but they chose to use layered pieces and a few little surprises like frogs,Lego Friends brushes, cherries, ice cream, purple carrots, and various other random pieces -one I had never seen before. This set looks amazing up close where you can see all the layers that make up the Milk Way galaxy, but it’s even better when you look at from a distance. I recommend this set to anyone who is interested in space, or art or any Lego fan.

This set's building experience was immersive and fun at the same time. The creativity in the piece elements was amazing, and I especially liked the alien, hair brush's, and a crab being used for the 'crab nebula'. The greebling technique is very fun, and the build felt like something different from previous sets I have built before. Probably my second favourite lego set I have ever made, just behind the Starry Night.

I am so happy I bought this on the day it came out. It was a great build and looks beautiful on my wall. All pieces were there, plus extras. The frame could have had a better design as it came apart a few times, but something I could work around. As others have mentioned, sore fingertips, but fun to build. I am in my late 80's and highly recommend for anyone looking for a very creative way to spend some time.

This was truly a lot of fun to put together. I liked that it came in multiple books so we could do it with friends. Each person could do a set of panels and it was fun to watch as it came together, even though my fingertips were a little sore at the very end. Pushing all those small pieces on was definitely the most tedious part. but it is truly beautiful, I cannot wait to hang it!!

We absolutely ADORE this set! It is so much fun to build and it looks great hung up on the wall! I love that each panel has its own booklet so you can build with other people and then just piece it together at the end to get a full picture! Only note I have is the hangers on the back of the frame to hang the set on the wall, is embedded into the frame so it’s hard to find the nail and get it on the hook when hanging it up.

Love this build overall visually stunning. I will say that I spent about a week building this due to work. this build did a number on my finger tips but overall worth the price! My only complaint is the red and green plates on the back that bind the sections together when putting them together they pop off fairly easily.

I own all of the Lego art sets, but this is by far my favorite. It is more beautiful than the pictures can capture. It's incredible. I love that it is divided into panels so you can take a break when your fingers need a break. The details and parts that went into this actually had me chuckling a few times during the build. Incredible use of parts for the 3-D effect and I love the colors. I've loved many of my Lego builds but this has moved to the top of the list. Kudos to the designers. It's genius.

I have never really been a Lego builder but saw this set coming out and loved how fun it looked and that you could hang it up. I was looking for something fun to do/destress and even though there are MANY pieces it wasn't overwhelming. Truly enjoyed putting this together and loved getting to hang it up.

This set looks fantastic. After the frame you get started on the individual plates and realize that everything is single to double studded pieces lol. Obviously, this is what gives the Milky Way its texture, depth, and color range but definitely one where you need to take a break. The repurposing of random pieces is genius and makes the set fun to put together. After finishing you realize exactly what you’ve built and how great it looks. I would recommend

What a beauty! Such a different building experience too, loved every minutes of it. And the « you are here » sign is just the perfect finishing touch! One piece was missing but luckily I had it in my brick stock. First time I ever had a brick missing in a Lego set!
