The reason we advise against using stainless tumblers for hot beverages is due to how the double-wall vacuum insulation works. While it's excellent for keeping drinks cold for long periods, it can also trap heat when used with hot liquids like coffee or tea. This can cause the beverage to stay extremely hot and increase the risk of burns or scalds. We recommend exercising caution when using it with hot drinks. We appreciate your feedback about the packaging, and we'll make sure to consider clearer labeling in the future.
