I drain the liquid into lg pan, add lg chopped onion, 3 T bacon grease or some chopped ham, red pepper flakes to taste, and simmer 30 min. Add beans and simmer 30 min. These are excellent!

This item is almost half the price at SAMs as it is in my local grocery store. Allen's flat green beans are my families favorite. Even my picky eater loves them.

We love Allen green beans , the only canned green beans we will eat. However the recent few cans we have opened have an unusually amount of stems.

This is by far the best green bean ever.I have been using them for year.Wouldn't buy any thing else.
