Makes great toast or just with a little butter. So far I have been lucky that it has always been in stock. Freezes great, just put a square of parchment between the slices so they will easily separate.

This is one of the best raisin bread I have bought outside of a bakery. It thick and weighs due to the amount of raisins. Please don't discontinue this bread.

Many claiming to be raisin bread dump barely a small handful of raisin in each loaf whereas Oregon Trail knows how to do it right! Each slice is full of raisins with just the right amount of cinnamon. A tastebud explosive extravaganza!

My husband is a raisin bread lover. When we found this bread with vanilla in it at Sam's, we just had to try it. He absolutely loves it and now I buy at least four loaves every month. The price is comparable to regular grocery store prices, but the quality is superb!

I use to buy PF raisin bread as I thought it was the best. Until... Oh my, this is what real raisin bread is supposed to be. It makes wonderful French toast, great with a cup of tea; toasted and add peanut butter. Even the grandchildren love it. This is by far the best massed produced raisin bread ever.

I adore Oregon trail Raisin Bread! Unfortunately I can’t purchase it from Melbourne or the Vero Stores! Visiting in The Villages and found my raisin bread!!! I purchased 5 loaves!! They freeze well!!! Don’t you just love stories with happy endings?

When you pick up your first loaf, you'll be surprised at the weight. Yep, it's a little hefty. There are lots and lots of raisins in this bread. Another thing I like is the size of the slices. Not real thin like some on the market. The taste and texture is very good and it seems to stay moist until the last slice. It's great toasted or plain. I've put it in the freezer before it has come out just as fresh as it was when I bought it. (before freezing, I open the bag and lay a folded paper towel over the top and then re-seal the bag)

I love this bread. It is one of the reasons that I keep my membership with Sam's. I will say that it is aggrevating that there are times that I can't purchase it at the store. Sam's substitute for this bread is extremely weak. I will go elsewhere to find it or something close to it.

I have read all the negatives about this bread, but I found it to be very good and purchase it every time we place an order. The bread has a lot of juicy raisins and just the right sweetness. It tastes great toasted with butter. I made it as french toast and it was so good..
