Good oil for lubrication, however it's a little too watery. I applied it according to the shredder instructions but it ended up making a puddle on the bottom of the container bin. I will try folding a piece of paper in half and applying the oil inside of the fold as some others have suggested. Hope that helps out.

Your shredder will work better and last longer if you use this. I followed the recommendations from ppl who had already written reviews on this product about putting the oil in a junk mail envelope and running it through after every full basket of shredded paper. Excellent Advice!! Walmart's price and size of this product is the best I've found! Had it shipped to home and it arrived the next day on Standard shipping. Shipping cost is Great!

Perfect!!! I didnt take care of my unknown bramd shredder and I shred even tapes. So it made some squeaky noises and feels dry and bought this and it solved my problem! I bought another shredder im still battling whether returning ot or keeping it as an extra. But this oil works wonders.

I have used this product for the first time, but it appears to do the job and it was a good value. I wish it had a sponge applicator to apply it to a piece of paper. I know it is important to lubricate the shredder mechanism and lubricant sheets are very expensive.

As a teacher, I do a lot of shredding . After burning through a few shredders, I found this product. It has made such a difference. It is easy to apply. No muss- no fuss! The larger bottle is perfect for my use. However, there is a smaller bottle available too.

WOW. This made my very expensive cross cut shredder like new again. It is so smooth and much quieter and now when I turn the shredder upside down to look at the teeth the is hardly any paper shreds sticking out of the teeth. I was always pulling left over paper that would not fall through. I hope I did not do any permanent damage to my shredder without being oil with this fantastic lubricant. I have been using the Fellowes Pewershred Shredder Oil for many years, buying multiple bottles at a time. It never goes bad, does a great job lubricating the shredder and I have had 0 problems with the shredding machine. At this time, and after doing previous online research, I could not be happier. I was worried about leakage during shipping, but there's a foil seal (unscrew the cap to remove it) as well as an intact tip (you have to puncture or cut off the tip to make a hole for the oil to come out). Oil viscosity is such that you only need a small hole for it to flow smoothly.

I must admit that I had no idea that you were supposed to lubricate a shredder with vegetable oil until I bought a Fellowes and the instruction manual said so. I tried several different techniques that didn't work very well. I usually got the oil over or the shredder inside and out. I must admit that I looked but could not find this product anywhere and was shocked when I went to the Walmart website and found it. The price was fantastic as well as getting free shipping AND I can now lubricate my shredder and have excellent results. I recommend this product to anyone with a shredder and I suggest that you purchase it from Walmart! TOTALLY SATISFIED!
