It has been about 30 years since my last mattress so I kind of went with the groove. This mattress is attractive and soft on the top-not a pillow top though. I will never regret getting the exta firm as this does my old bones so so good. I actually cant wait to get into bed at night. The delivery people were good and on time so the whole delivery was great, I would definitly recommend.

I have been married a long time and for the last five my husband and I slept in separate beds. Now we are able to sleep together again. This mattress doesn't creak or squeak at night. I can barely feel my husbands movement when he tosses and turns. I am amazed at the high quality of the mattress itself. It is firm yet it still contours to your body. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I changed to Beautyrest - Silver BRS900 Extra Firm and I am so happy I did, I have been sleeping much better, I love that it is extra firm because I have back problems and the firmness helps my back and hip so much, Its also thick great looking and made of very sturdy material, the fabric is thick and soft at the same time but I use a cover to extend the life of my new mattress, my husband is also really happy and I have not heard a lot of snoring lately, we can definitely feel the difference

I had a memory foam mattress before and it would sink down into the middle not after too long so needless to say I needed a new bed.
