Great feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew this camera would be of great benefit for my family. My family are huge GE consumers. We love the quality of their appliances for the great price that they offer. This camera will serve as a nursery camera for my 18 month old boy. At the moment we are using a camera that isn’t wireless. This indoor GE camera is going to be perfect because it’s wide capable and I can look at the video from my cellular phone.

The directions for these ge cync cameras to connect to each other are difficult. The yearly storage is a decent price. i have two indoor one out door and a solar batt for outdoor.

Mid Camera

The camera is okay for the price but for the longevity of a home camera I wouldn’t recommend keeping it longer than a year. The application is come with is okay for ONE person. By that I mean that only one person can control the camera and if another person want to see it on there phone they won’t be able to and will only see a cannot connect icon

Reliable Camera - Unreliable App

The Cync Indoor Cam is reliable, good resolution and has features that make it super useful, such as night vision. The only negative aspect of this camera is the fact is does not pan. Most of the indoor cams I've had in the past tend to have built-in panning, this one doesn't. That means you won't be able to move the cam horizontally left to right through the app. It sits in a fixed position. My biggest problem wasn't necessarily the Cam itself - it was the App. Most people, while they're away, would like to see how things are going at the house. The app has been hard to deal with. Not only I had multiple issues trying to add the devices onto the app, when I close the app on my phone the wi-fi signal seems to get lost. That means when I open the app again, it doesn't recognize the cameras. Meaning that I have to log-out and log back in my account every time I need to look at my cameras. That is extremely annoying. I have tried to contact GE Support to resolve this app problem, but they were unable to fix it. They instructed me to delete cache, uninstall cameras, add them again, add separate accounts, yet nothing was resolved. The price of this camera and the brand, GE, were the primary reasons I decided to give this camera a shot. I purchased 6 Indoor Cams. I will keep using them until they break or the firmware can't be updated. After that, I will purchase another indoor cam from a different brand. Unfortunately due to the fact the app is unreliable, I wouldn't recommend this model.

Can't subscribe.

It worked pretty well for the first few months but now it's not accepting my cards for the monthly subscription even though I tried multiple cards. So now I have to go to the store to purchase an SD card.

After the 30 day free trial you can pay a subscription to continue to use the Cync cloud storage, or you can install a micro SD to continue to record your events.
