I'm a tree worker so my work clothes normally smell like wood. Pine or cedar to be specific. Putting one cap of these little blue pearls in the washer took away the wood smell. What amazed me even more is after I got home from work , sweating and covered in saw dust from cutting trees I could still smell a faint smell of the downy fresh scent on my clothes. My wife and I have decided this is going to be a new staple in our laundry room. If it can make my work clothes smell better it's done more than any laundry product we've ever tried.
